If it was something like a 1 hour consult in the Konmari method for example I would pay for that. If it had anything to do with storage, nope I wouldn't - I'm on the declutter once and never accumulate clutter again bandwagon! 😂😊

I would. Even though my husband thinks he's organised he's lazy so nothing gets done. I just don't know where to start and don't like to throw things out so I need help.

No I wouldn't. I wouldn't like people going through my stuff, knowing what I did and didn't have. Our things are personal, so I would hate for someone to go through my stuff !

Do you think they would actually throw your stuff out, or keep it for themselves, or sell it ?

I strongly doubt they'd be keeping anyone's old rubbish 😂

I wouldn't pay for someone to come and give me a plan to implement. I can plan myself. The difficult part is the implementing when it comes to decluttering.

It sounds a bit too much like my MIL visiting - she looks around, tut tuts a bits and announces what I should do to fix things up.

I'd pay $30-40 per hour if it included physically helping with the declutter and organisation. A free consult and quote. Then if accepted, a plan is done up and the consultant physically helps with the implementation. A lot of people who hoard and struggle to declutter really need someone to be there and offer moral support. Otherwise the decisions about what to keep and what to purge just get too hard.
