yes, I'm glad your embie is safe too until they work this out. did they say at the start that you have problems naturally producing progesterone. because one cycle I didn't have progesterone - I had pregnyl instead which as I understand it is HCG, which then triggers the natural progesterone to kick in. that was a fresh/medicated cycle though so I'm not sure if it makes a difference.

what does the clexane do? could it have affected something?
be happy your embie is still safe though, as Blossom says. this could be the good one and it's a godsend that it's now waiting for your next cycle. I'd keep focusing/visualising on the embie whist you wait on next instructions.

@Charlie74 I'm so sorry to read your news. It's heartbreaking when all that effort and time is lost however better to not go ahead when things are right. I had my lining get thinner one cycle but my nurse said this isn't possible so the nurse scanning must have made a mistake. I can't remember if I'd already started progesterone but I don't think so. I hope you can speak to LB soon to get some answers. I'm not sure if you've spoken to dr NL about the stem cell research he is doing about increasing lining?

I really don't understand how this could even happen. My understanding was that you have to bleed to shed your lining. My lining was 4mm day two of my FET then it goes up and up until next AF then it sheds again back to 4mm. Did you have any break through bleeding at all @Charlie74. I agree with others your clinic has done good by not just transferring embie. None of my clinics has ever checked my lining pre transfer so thank goodness yours is been thorough. They should have tricks to try it will be interesting what LB has to say as well. Sorry just want add I am really sorry as well I know you must be disappointed xo

But it's not good news. My lining has gone backwards. It's only 4mm. Now I'm questioning whether I should have been taking clexane all week. Maybe I should I have stuck with LB's instructions of clexane after transfer.

Wazza does a scan day 2 which I always thought was ahhggg gross as day 2 is heavy flow for me but he does that so he can see the lining going low. Then he will scan again day 4-6ish if needed based on the day 2 numbers then another around day 12. Does LB scan early on in the cycle. I just want to add too nurses never do my scans always my fertlity specialist. Hope it doesn't sound rude but I am just sharing info I have from my Wazza FET's @Charlie 74 let me know if you want any other info I can email you his FET medicated plan if you want to compare it, if it might help at all.

the mistake with scanning / measuring sounds the most plausible idea? I guess you could ask them to triple check it going forwards if this is a common mistake there. (but really, you shouldn't need to)

I'd err on the side of telling your FS about all the meds because she won't be able to make an as informed decision of your next step if she doesn't know all the facts. maybe she would then be able to explain it if they are affecting things.

I honestly didn't think it was🤔But I am no expert. It is very scary indeed and making me wonder if we should all get scanned on transfer days if this is something that can happen. Have you tried googling it to see if their is any other similar cases?

BUT, LB did say to me 'and we'll do a lining scan the day before transfer because it 'shrunk' once before'. So if she used the word 'shrunk' then to me that's an acknowledgment that it went backwards. I don't understand it either though... Without bleeding how it is possible???

I reckon someone might have stuffed up the first lining check too. And I doubt the Clexane had anything to do with thinning your lining in the unlikely event that did indeed happen. After all, many of us (myself included) have been prescribed Clexane prior to FET. I took it 2 weeks prior to my transfer and my lining was fine. I think the more likely scenario is that the first scan was not accurate.

Yes agree I used clexane every time I even do an injection on ET day. It is very common now. Maybe @Charlie74 could casually ask her if clexane would help improve lining and see what she says? So not a direct admission just a what are your thoughts type of scenario.
