winsor Ouch, that is a long time! I got in pretty quickly, maybe because it was my FS doing the surgery at a big hospital.
ahh that could be it. we decided not to do it as was running out of time before hitting age limit. my original FS is one of the fellows. though I've had the senior doctor and the doctor who did my last two transfer's name on perscription and call after first cycle there. so maybe I didn't have a set doctor but more of a rotation. I dealt mostly with the nurses after initial consult and that call
Good Morning and welcome to "Chez Gastro"
I have been riding the poecelain bus since just before 8.30pm last night. I feel like sh!t, can barely move from one place to another and had a crap night's sleep as DD was so unsettled she ended up back in bed with me again.
Thanfkfully, she had a vomit-free night. Looks like I've picked up where she left off!!Anyhoo...apologies for no personals..am going to slowly crawl my way over to the lounge and stay on it as much as possible today..as much as DD will allow me to that is!!
Be watching from the sidelines Lovelies!!!
oh no BiB, how awful. I hope you both recover soon. rest up and keep hydrated
winsor I had a fellow too, (he's moved up the ranks a bit now) and he referred me to get a tinkering on the initial consult at RPA in 2011 (three previous failed cycles with Genea). I must have got lucky with the appointments, I thought waiting 3 weeks was a long time! My BFP was after that lap/hysteroscopy/flushed tubes/endo removal.
Yeah, I just dealt with the nurses too mainly until I saw him again after about 7 failed cycles at RPA and then again last year at Genea with my donor. I did have a senior FS at one point at RPA but I think he was a bit pants, retired now, sometimes the younger docs will try harder and new things. I saw 3 fertility docs over all + one for a second opinion.
I had sooo many different docs do the EPU and ET. I think half of RPA and Genea have been up my lady bits.
@BlondeinBrisvegas ah geeze you poor thing, that sounds absolutely awful, I've done the tag teaming gastro game before and I just hope it passes quickly for you. My only advice is fingers down the throat as soon as you feel like barfing, can help it get it over and done with.
@Charlie74 Im so sorry. Hope you get a reason and also some guidance on what the hell to do from here.
@blondinBrisvegas I know exactly what you have been going though. Every sheet and towel in the house needs to be washed, not to mention clothes. Oh and the bathroom. Ive had many nights/days with a sick son, who has been a great sharer and passed on to me. Take care and I wish you beautiful windy sunny washing weather.
AFM - just got the results. 5/6 eggs were mature. 3/5 fertilised normally with ICSI! Im doing a 5 day transfer on Saturday. Put your hand up if you're happy 🙋🏼. Last round was 1 embryo transferred on Day3 which didn't work. Its refreshing to have a completely different result. I have 3 on the podium and feel blessed.
Great news @Billie2
Im so sorry to hear this news @Charlie74 i dont understand how it all works tbh but i have everything crossed for you
@BlondeinBrisvegas as soon as you can get inner health plus into your lo on a regular basis its definitely recommend post gastro but also scientifically linked to preventing asthma etc. I hope this helps prevent further illness for you. Depending upon her oral intake either a teaspoon of powder in her drink each day or chewable tablets. Of course it will help you too. I hope you both feel better soon.
@Gagini hows todays results luv? Are you pgd any? Or just transferring this time or both?
Charlie74 what crappy news. I am so sorry. I didn't even know it was possible for lining to go backwards. I am only speculating but it was going ok till you took progesterone. I wonder if that affected it at all.
Pregnant for the first-time?
Not sure where to start? We can help!
