@Gagingi great news! Sounds like the 4 lead embryos are going gangbusters. I had a few stragglers join the party late too at times.

    Great News @winsor, @Gagingi, @Billie2!!!

and prayers being sent for you all!!!

AFM: Thanks for all the well wishes Girls

DD seems to have some kind of upper respiratory tract infection with a touch of asthma too possibly??

Anyhoo...it's apparently the "Virus du Jour" atm so I'm to keep up with meds to help with the vomiting (didn't even make it out of the driveway before she puked again in her carseat!!) plus she has to have ventolin 4x a day to help her breathe.

Other than that, I have to let it run its course apparently though if she's not on top of it by the time I go back next week then she'll probably get antibiotics then. We're heading into our 3rd week with it now though the vomiting is a new thing that started on Sat and due to her swallowing her mucus etc from her nose and throat. Ewwwwwww..........

    for a vomit free night!!!

@winsor great news. Now sit back and relax mumma
@Charlie74 try not to worry about the what ifs and concentrate on what you can control. Sounds like you're all over it x
@Billie2 great news from you too. Fingers crossed the news just keeps getting better.

Hello to everyone else. I've been catching up on posts but nothing going on with me for awhile now so not much to report. Still haven't spoken to the FS about my failed cycle. I'm really wanting to find out if I can have a laparoscopy bulk billed. Has anyone ever heard of having it in the public system without confirmed endo or other issues? If I could have that now rather than waiting until April when my private health kicks in that'd be good. I am convinced I have scarring or something in there that's causing the implantation issues. Could be so wrong though.

my pre-transfer anxiety is starting to build.. All I can think about right now is 'will my lining still be ok at the last scan or will it have shrunk ??' .. Pls god it hasn't. I'm freaking a little today Bcos twice going to the loo I've lost some progesterone.. Firstly the crinone, then an hour after I used a pessary I went to the loo and noticed some drops of the melted pessary (sorry for the visual!).. Now I'm worried if I've lost some that it will have a detrimental affect.. YES I'm completely PARANOID!!

It's it really a fact that u can't have too much progesterone? Even at THIS point right before a HRT transfer? (Ie if I decided u use an extra pessary?)

I've also started panicking about whether the embie will defrost ok

So anyway.. I'm looking for any and all of ur little tips for pre-post transfer! This is what I've been told so far...

BD night before (ummm.. No idea how to manage this with all the crap I'm putting up there currently..)
    No perfumes/ deodorants for FET
Diaz 10mg & Pan forte x 2 = 1 hour prior to FET (due to painful previous experiences involving my cervix/uterus)
Glass of port evening of FET (I like this one! Thanks Wazza!)
    Diaz 10mg in the evening
Watch funny movies & lots of laughing where possible!
Nothing strenuous or overheating but also Don't be a couch potato Bcos movement and blood flow is important (especially for me with lining and circulation issues!)

(Ps. Clexane girls.. Do I have my clexane the night before? And do I have it the night of the transfer?? I think Dr M said last week not to have it on the DAY of transfer but I'm not sure.. @Cheifsgirl if ur around do u remember what u did??)

again.. Apologies for the lengthy post!

Right!!! Now you listen to me Luv ok?? You have prepared for this FET and are doing absolutely everything you can to give your emby the best environment to make itself at home in for the next 9 months!!

There is no such thing as too much P4 even now. Yes, the pessaries make your VJay Jay feel like a deep fat fryer, but whatever comes out (or remains when using Crinone that gives you that oh, so lovely "cottage cheese" effect) is just the excess after your body has absorbed whatever it's going to.

As for having a shag, get in the shower, have a good, old squat and give your VJay Jay a clean out!!! I used to do it every 2-3 days myself. Yes, do your clexane shot the night before but NOT on the day/night of transfer. Recommence the following day.

You have a PGD normal emby on ice Luv. He/she will thaw out beautifully and will no doubt be hatching out of it's shell by the time he/she is put into your oven to slow bake for the next 40 weeks!!!

After 5 or so days, you'll start POAS and sooner rather than later you'll see your BFFP start to materialise right in front of your eyes with that tell tale squinter on the stick!!!

NOTHING is going to go wrong allright??? I suggest you get an early start on the Port & Pill combo and go get a "Wazza Special" into you tonight!!!!

@Caesardust I had a lap done at the public hospital. I didn't have any endo confirmed before hand although they did find some. My FS referred me to have it done after 3 failed cycles but this was through the public funded IVF clinic. I had to wait about 3 weeks. Can you ask your FS to refer you to a public hospital?

Yes that's what I'm thinking I'm going to ask him when I speak to him. Thanks so much. You've given me some hope I can do something before April.

@Charlie74 I second everything blonde has said. You have done everything you can!

Yep also second clexane night before but not day of, then start again the day after transfer.
@winsor and @Gagingi and @billie3 congrats on your great results.

Sorry I'm only in here sporadically, work is absolute **** at the moment so I'm reading along when I can. Stress from work is making my sugar levels go through the roof😩 so I'm starting to think I'm going to end up on meds to control gd😞

@Caesardust, I'm at same hospital as Bongley and they had suggested doing a lap as an exploratory option to see if there was anything there causing previous failures. so I think you/your FS should be able to ask them to do it. probably the hardest part will be scheduling it in. good luck
