Just out of interest which credit card is doing 24 mths 0% interest?
Thanks @Charlie74 I feel quite good and SO ready to move forward. I just emailed two donor agencies to ask about the possibility of writing a letter to the donor first to see if they are agreeable to having some details available for when the child turns 18. I think legally they are protected to be anonymous, but I guess if they chose otherwise it would be their choice. A long shot, but worth asking the question as that was one of our main concerns with SA.

I moved to St. George, that particular offer expired 12th January and I think it was originally for 12 or 18 months but they stuffed up my card so extended it to 24 months to say sorry!

I used this website to compare and found the best deal. I knew that I didn't actually want to use the card at all, so the interest rate didn't really matter, it was having low fees, no fee for transferring the balance, and the longest period of 0% that I was looking for. http://www.creditcardcompare.com.au/...edit-cards.php

    Good luck for Wednesday

I've been busy in the kitchen again! I made two little lemon madeira cakes, and four dozen chocolate chip cookies which have been rolled into balls and frozen (uncooked) for future use. Look how organised I am!
@Summer, you sounds really focussed! Good on you for taking back control hon

Yummo you can adopt me if you want to @Blossom74. I come with a few issues but nothing a good cake or cookie won't fix 😂@lolly99 no not drinking much water, he has fresh water available all the time but never liked it much, he is partial to a bit of milk but I don't have any low lactose stuff on hand will get some tomorrow for him. Thanks for all the advice re my ginge cat I am holding of till tomorrow RE vets as they charge a fortune on the week end, none are open here except for emergency after hours @BlondeinBrisvegas who would have thought of prednisone it must be a super low dose of it for a baby. I hope she's feeling better for you soon poor little thing and that goes for you as well. Get better xo @Summer good plans SA do have known donors like the ones that we are all using but they also travel however you could even try emailing my known donor co ordinator Genevieve to ask her if she has any ladies who might consider doing it there and been known. Could be worth a try? She is based in Cape Town.

Yum charlie74. I love a nice fluffy home made scone with Jam and cream. I am currently cooking savoury lamb cutlets spiced with paprika and basil. With mashed potato and peas but now I want scones 😉

And a very early good morning to you all. It is 5.21am and I am just eating my toast before heading off on another business trip, so I wanted to pop in quickly and say 'hi' and 'bye!' I'll be back late Tuesday afternoon so I look forward to catching up on all the news then.

Glad to hear that I have inspired some creative cooking. Gosh those scones sound delish. Might have to make those next weekend!

Until tomorrow, have a lovely day everyone.

    Blossom

@winsor so glad to hear the lines are nice and dark now! That's a great sign. Can't wait to hear those numbers this afternoon.

see you when you get back @Blossom74 all this talk of lemon cakes and scones is making me very hungry.
@BlondeinBrisvegas hope your daughter is feeling better this week, sounds absolutely horrendous

AFM I reach the 12 week mark this thursday but my scan is next wednesday I was flat out on the couch yesterday so I reckon the little guy is still going strong, either that or I have developed chronic fatigue. I was so knackered I couldn't drag myself to the shops to get a card for my partner which frankly I don't think he gave a sh!t about He went for a run in the blue mountains and then rocked up with flowers and pastry, bless him, I forgot to remind him this year too. Quite despairing about my fitness at this stage, I think this whole caper is designed to turn women into tubs of lard. I am so jealous of my partner running races while I'm out of breath on the couch and having 3 hour naps.

Good luck to @Gagingi with your embryo updates and @Charlie74 with your transfer on wed and @Billie2 where are you up to? Sorry I have lost track!

thanks ladies. @tuxcat, yes I told them and they thought it sounded good and were looking forward to the results today too. @Charlie74 no, no heat pack. he looked at the back of my hands for a while then went back to my arms/inner elbows and found another one there which eventually worked. he said there's been a few lost veins this morning, not sure why. the humidity should have helped them pop up. I should have eaten something or drunk more water beforehand I think
