Feeling sore and sorry for myself.

I've got to get stitches out Monday and have a blood test to make sure numbers are going down. They were 3000 on Tuesday. So I'm going to make an appointment to see my FS. Not sure how long he will get me to wait.

I've got three lovely frozen DE embies on ice. So I'm going to get straight back on this horse.... Just need the body to be ready to handle it all

@Charlie74 definitely endometrin - crinone is the worst! and it doesnt stop AF for me either. In fact the pessaries are the only thing that does. From memory I don't think they are messy, although maybe slight leakage but nothing gruesome like the ole crinone.

@Summer I reckon giving the lower dose a shot is a great idea, at worst you'll get your one egg and it may just be all you need, especially of the quality is better. Isn't there also some evidence to suggest that why the natural FET stats have risen so much to be pretty much on par with fresh is because theres less drugs in your system so its closer to a natural pregnancy environment. It makes sense. Ive read that older women (over 40) respond well to the lower dose cycles..just not me!

just make sure your head is also ready @Precious40. My ectopic really messed me up for quite a while, so take your time to heal everywhere. I got some counselling too after mine, not straight after but a few months later as i wasn't coping very well. Take care of your self

That is definitely lower than I was on - I think my FS was looking at about 250 but if that does nothing, then I would see if I can squeeze in another cycle at about the 375, but then I'd be done, so that would be my two goes.

Thanks @tuxcat I thought it was worth a go now that I've been drug free for many months and my health is pretty good. My cycles were perfect until I had the little Bell's Palsy blip and took some high dose pred for a few days - other than that I'm feeling better than I have for years so it's now or never!

No possible way they can find out you'd increased your dose Luv and no detrimental effects going up an extra 50-100IU IMO. It's not that much more in the big scheme of things

In other matters, it appears that all of my hair is falling out. I mean, I still have some of course, but when I blow dry my hair it looks like a small dog has disrobed on my bathroom floor. Hair everywhere. There is hair on the pillows in the morning too.

Hormonal perhaps? Anyone else have this issue? Anything I can do to avoid going bald?
Yep..hormonal or medication related. The "angry spray" Synarel used to make my hair fall out.

A hair, skin and nail supplement or just Biotin on it's own in a fairly high dose (I don't think it has and adverse effects/contraindications with the IVF meds but check with the FN anyway just in case).

They say the first couple of days after surgery are the worst hon, hang in there

I'm really thrilled you have 3 frosties waiting for you! I agree, let your body heal properly first to give them the best possible chance. Being that they are DE you do have some time up your sleeve
