@BlondeinBrisvegas I will be down in April on the early bird flight. I would love pancakes for breakfast. Just putting it out there to the universe now to give you plenty of prep time 😂 On the subject of Valium I have been watching a show called Nurse Jackie and last night I must have over done it and watched too many episodes as I apparently slept talked to my dog and said "it's okay mummy has some puppy Valium here for you" my husband found it quite funny as the dog had jumped into our bed and I was petting his head at the same time as saying this. Ho hum, oh dear.

I intend to google the shiz out of all of that of course...

Ok @Tahli.. I dunno if I got the specific answer your looking for, but here's what he told me. I said I had heaps of crinone, and he said it's fine to use it initially.
He said I have to use the exact dose LB wants me to use until the day of transfer, and then on the night of transfer ADD another 200mg on top of what she wants me to use. And for example if I want to, to do it 3 times a day spreading the complete dosage out. If I want to keep using the crinone only, then to use 2 of them to make up almost 200mg. Or if I choose to add a pessarie to the mix, then I can do that too- he also suggested that if I do a mix of crinone & pessary that the pessary can quite happily go up the back door (as discussed by the girls in here yesterday).

I told him the pharmacist said the Oripro wasn't PBS & he looked very confused and said he didn't know why that was... But that he hears different stories like this all the time & it seems to depend on which pharmacy you go to... 😳 anyway he then said he would write a new script for 'progesterone pessaries' and to find a compounding pharmacy that could make them Bcos they are cheaper - which apparently he finds funny Bcos it used to be that compounding made everything more expensive! Now it's the opposite!

One of the lovely girls in here told me about a compounding pharmacy a week or two ago who she did say was cheap & fast with delivery so I think I'm gonna try that.....
The pharmacy can only dispense what the Dr has written, so if the Oripro is not on an authority script, it won't be on the PBS. Nothing the pharmacy can do about it.
You can look up any drug in Australia on the PBS website & it will tell you costs and restrictions

    Hi everyone

Sorry I have been MIA for abt two weeks and omg this thread moves super quick man! I was on # 24 last time and today I logged in to realise that I have missed the whole of # 25.. I tried to catch up the last few pages, as I couldn't read ALL the pages I missed. I will try to be regular from now on

    From what I could gather

Winsor u have had a bfp .. Heartiest congratulations to u

Charlie 74 I am glad that your intralipids went well with Dr M. Worth all the effort flying up.

Blossom74 all the very best as you are cyclying

Greenlady Are u still waiting on your results?

Gagingi are you also currently cycling?

precious 40 how are you doing love ? I am very sorry to read abt you. Please take care

Tahli I have followed a few of your conversations with LB. I exactly feel the same as you felt with her. .. Rushed etc, etc

Blondeinbrisvegas hope you are well.....thanks for your posts from the newspaper cuttings. We're really informative and as usual you are always helping all of us in every stage of the journey

    AFM

We have finally decided to go on the surrogacy route. It was a hard decision to take and also a tough preocedure to do if you are engaging in commercial surrogacy overseas, but if every step is taken in the right way, it's doable

We are going to get it done from Ukraine as India and Thailand has banned it. As we made 3 normal embryos in our pgd cycle in dec, the clinic has agreed to try with our embryos first, we will need to ship our embryos to them. And if all the 3 don't work even in the surrogate, then we will go to de plus surrogacy and we will have a baby in the end. When we go to sign the contract , DH can provide a semen sample to be frozen and needed if required. It's a all inclusive 'package.'

i know it's a very cumbersome procedure and there are so many legal things that need to taken care of etc, but we just felt, we have tried enough with almost all the options and didn't want my body to go through everything again and again and wasting the precious tested embryos on top of being a major brain surgery survivor. It was a tough decision to make. But now we are sure to do this. Hopefully it works out fine.

thanks agin ladies for listening to me, I wouldn't have survived this journey without you lovlies
A big hello to everyone I have missed

@Sue77 I can only imagine how difficult this decision has been for you and DH to make Luv and just how complex the whole process of getting your embies over there, the legalities, finding the surrogate etc will be and also how time consuming too. My mind boggles at the thought of the cost???

However, if you both feel that this is the right path, then it's what you have to do How long to do you think it will take before you'll be able to do a FET with your surrogate?? I just wish this country wasn't so backward with surrogacy laws so that you and DH wouldn't have to go o/seas!!! Sadly, I don't see things changing for the better here for a long time unfortunately.

Anyway, as always, know that I'm thinking of you and keeping everything sending Airbus's full of and praying up a storm to the Universe that this path leads you to your take home baby!!!!

Please keep us all updated when you can ok???

haha BiB. here's the pic. it looked slightly less but is getting close toyesterday's now it dried. I might try book in for a BT at my GP for tues(day14) or so to get a reference level. I was up multiple times during the night so this was light wee anyway. these tests are going to drive me crazy. maybe I'll try stick to one a day. it hasn't been long enough for levels to double yet.

thanks Petal and Sue. Sue, it sounds complicated and easier for you at the same time. best of luck with it. I really hope it all works out.

comparison to last bfp (cp) tests. I should stop this now for my sanity
