Ceasardust I didn't have symptoms till about 5.5 weeks. When I did get a BFP on the wee stick I was shocked as I felt no different and only when I had bt did it start to sink in. Keep positive hunny you're almost there. @Bongley I am same as you re telling family. They are all overseas too. It's just dad, brother and sister really oh and dads nutty partner. They are in 80's and she is very opinionated. Sister is in her 50's with grown children and I know that she will try to find all the negatives and basically kill our joy with questions. Not that she means to she just likes to control things. They will come around eventually but initially I'm freaking out. We are not really phone people as dad is half deaf so I'm thinking of sending a nice group email with photos of the scans. Kind of thinking of not mentioning the donor eggs bit until we see them in person. I don't want any judgements about my babies. I'm not sure they will I just want to protect them!! Don't mean to make them out to be monsters they just don't understand me and my life sometimes. I'm not as conservative as they are and I'm sure when the shock settles they will be thrilled. I think they will just be concerned because of our ages. Anyways I feel better for letting that out!! Been on my mind a bit as Are results come back Thursday and that's when we tell everyone. Hope everyone else is ok and having a nice Tuesday!!
@Lolly99 do we have the same family!?! I'll be sending an email to my brother and sister and cousin but I'll let my sister tell my mum I think as she is deaf as a post and 3 sandwiches short of a picnic. My dad is a bit trickier as he is compos mentis but living in the past a little bit but I'll give it a shot over the phone with him I think. Email and internet is not in his world. Let me know how you go lolly

There'll be no hiding it when our little guy pops out with big brown eyes and we've all got very blue eyes! Good thing we're not keeping it secret or I'm sure everyone will think I've slept with the postman.

@winsor, you could always sneak off to your local GP for a BT. I did that quite a few times

ETA: I have kept on reading and now I see you are indeed having an early test - yay!

Christ on a bike, that is bl00dy unfair. Knowing how hard it is to get any follies at our age you must be gutted. What CD are you on hon? Did you ovulate early or were they really pushing the boundaries with the Orgalutran?

@Summer I'm sooo relieved to hear Mint Slices have a 50% higher success rate than Tim Tams. I have, however, just found some Chocolate Ripple biscuits right at the bottom of the biscuit tin. Any idea where they sit on the SISRI (Summer's Increased Success Rate Indicator)?

@Caesardust, I agree with the other lovelies. Even when I hit 45,000 on my HCG test I had hardly any symptoms. Early on the only thing I could pin as a possible symptom was hunger at midnight, and a lower backache, which if I hadn't been trying to get UTD I would probably have easily ignored. It's very early days hon I know it's easier said than done, but try not to worry. And spend a bit of time each day envisioning your emby snuggling in tight - I believe in the power of positive thinking. Hugs to you - I know it's hard. Every step of this bl00dy journey is a challenge in it's own right.

Right there with you hon! It is a constant battle. Remember I lost those 3 kilos before Christmas? Remember Christmas?! Hello, three kilos....oh, and I see you brought a friend with you...and your name?....hello Kilo Number 4.

I just keep making small adjustments. If I look at the bigger picture it sends me running for the tim tams, so every can of diet coke vs regular coke helps. Every time I have a banana instead of a bikkie I congratulate myself.

Eventually all the little achievements will add up to progress.

Don't be too hard on yourself. You have bigger fish to fry

    (Mmmm....fish and chips.......)

Ooooh, love to see me a stick pic in the morning. Woot woot, so you've managed to score a sneaky BT! Well done love. Are we taking bets on your number? I'm gonna say 124. (Keep in mind I have no bl00dy idea what CD you're on, I'm just taking a stab in the dark!)

Nah @Tahli, choc ripple don't even register on the list. They are right down there with the stale dusty gingernuts nobody wants

You need to head more into the wagon wheel territory I think. Or maybe the buttery jammy biscuit arena.....

@Blossom74 winsor is 13dpo, so I'll go exactly half your estimate, 62! @winsor seriously though, I just want it to be a number that confirms your lovely pregnancy. I'll be stalking later this arvo.
