This specialist said it was pseudo? Sac of fluid?
He said my uterus is empty. I asked where did the 3mm black thingy go then. That's when he said sac of fluid
    Not blighted ovum

I hope we get to find out.

I was naughty and did another test and it's much lighter. but I had drunk nearly 2L over a few hours before and had gone to the toilet only an hour or so early, so I'm calling it a dilution error/anomaly and trying not to stress. I don't think the real line would've dropped that quickly - last time it happened over a few days. (at least that's what I'm telling myself!!) I still have the other 'symptoms' so that's keeping me calm that it's still there.

I hope your second line starts getting darker over next few days.

I just need to work out by tomorrow who I want to do the laparoscopic surgery. My clink or the new FS I've found

He seemed very interned in NK testing and my MTHFR gene. Which is what I've been looking for. Finally

For those ladies that have two FS. Is it hard to keep all the info in. One FS says this while the other says this. Do you tell them your seeing someone else? I feel like I'm cheating some how. Will one contradict the other?
@Precious40, at one point I considered changing specialists. My 'old' specialist was very good with the 'getting me pregnant' part, but I felt the clinic overall was lacking in emotional support, especially once I lost my baby. I basically had to deal with that all by myself (and with the lovely ladies here) as the clinic only offered counselling 1 afternoon a week. Convenient, not.

I met with another well respected specialist to sound him out. I told him what I'd been doing and asked if (A) He felt my current course of treatment was appropriate, and (B) What, if anything, he would do differently. He had some suggestions which I took on board and implemented myself, but in the end he suggested that if I was his wife/sister/friend he would recommend that I stay where I was because of X,Y,Z.

I found the whole experience very beneficial. It opened my mind to a few new ideas and also gave me some options to consider going forward. In the end I stayed where I was (purely because at the end of the day my main focus was to get pregnant, and I knew my present Doctor had pretty good success rates.) At the end of the day skill trumped support for me, lol.

I think exploring your concerns with another specialist is beneficial even if you don't intend to change providers. I was upfront with both specialists - I told the new guy who I'd been seeing and what we had done, and I told my old FS that I was meeting with other specialists as well. I'm a pretty confident woman and I was happy to take my health into my own hands. At the end of the day IVF should not be about being told what to do all the time. We don't work for these people, we pay THEM! Your IVF journey should be something both you and your chosen specialist work on together.

Thanks @Caesardust for your fury on my behalf - awesome!

It has to be the lowest of the low, honestly who would stoop to that to try and prevent their ex from having fair amounts of time with his son? We're due in to do interviews for a family report tomorrow, so I've got to keep my head screwed on because DH is losing his at the moment, he's so upset about it all - she said some pretty nasty stuff in her affidavit that isn't true, so my part is the least of the worries I think. I know she's just desperately trying to hang onto her son and trying to find any little thing to use against us, so I'm not going to take the bit about our "emotional household" personally - it's all in the past anyway - and I'll just be there for DH because he's a mess. And they say women are the emotional ones. Pfft!

@Precious40 Talk about extreme opposites in FS's approaches. I'm a fan of the later FS. I'm glad that after your traumatic experience you're starting to get some-where.
I have 3 FS's, as do most of the O/S DE girls. I have my CFC FS, LB and Dr M. It can be really tricky to juggle, esp when being given protocols but I guess you can choose what to follow. A little example is Clexane, 1 has told me to start before boarding my CT flight, another told me to start 1 week prior transfer and 1 told me to start on CD1. I'll start on CD1...it covers all bases!
    Good luck with your decision!

@Precious40 what a horrible time you're having with this

I have had an embryo "disappear", so it's not unheard of. It was there on the scan measuring 5w4d, then at my next scan two weeks later it was gone and my uterus looked normal. I didn't bleed out but my hcg wasn't rising as expected so I knew something was wrong.

Definitely get it checked out for ectopic if they think something is in your tube, but wouldn't you be getting a lot of pain by now? Are they still checking your hcg to make sure it's going down? A lap sounds like a fairly extreme thing to do if they aren't sure. Get a second opinion hon.
