when was last period. Are you regular. Are you pregnant etc
I was very nervous. I did say I'm having one tomorrow to check everything...
So I had an ultrasound. Nothing in there. Then he says it maybe be ectopic on the left tube... WTF?? Would I like to book in Thursday to have a lap and he will get
it out while he's there!!? At this stage my head is spinning. I can't comprehend anything
Like I said not what I thought was happening today
I'm even more nervous about tomorrows bloods an ultrasound. If they don't pick up the ectopic I'm to tell them he said.
I've never seen another FS and now I'm a bit scared....
My head is all fuzzy atm

I'm not surprised you feel all over the shop Luv!!

I wonder if there's a chance the sack has been reabsorbed into your body by now??

It's only a "maybe" about the ectopic, but you can always tell your FS you had an appointment with an immune specialist and he felt that there was a possibility it could be an ectopic on your left tube and you were to let him know.

It's really none of your FS's business if you want to go and get further testing/opinions done. He doesn't have to "approve" it and you don't have to justify it either. I'm not trying to sound harsh, just saying how it is Luv plus they're two very different specialities so there's no reason your FS should be offended etc IMO.

I think just put your thoughts on hold about everything that's happened today as best as you can..try to relax somehow..with a nice bath etc and try to distract yourself too as well as get the most restful sleep you can and decide how you're going to deal with it in the morning when you wake up

    Hi @Precious40.

I'm so sorry you're having to deal with this news on top of what you have already had to go through. I wonder if your Doctor saw something on the scan which has prompted this latest investigation? Either way, if he suspects an ectopic pregnancy (and for the love of God, why your FS didn't look for it earlier is absolutely beyond me) then the sooner you get it sorted the better. Ectopics can get quite nasty so it's not something that should be dragged out.

I remember when I lost my bub back in October. After the D&C I spent about 2 months (no, I'm not kidding) where I was completely fuzzy-headed. I tried so hard to get back to work but I couldn't sit and read or concentrate on anything as I used to. I think it's part of the grieving process - you sort of go numb for a while in order to be able to cope with it.

What I am ever-so-not-eloquently trying to say is that what you are feeling is normal love. Sending you massive hugs

aww thanks @Caesardust. I guess we all have similar stories on this rollercoaster ride. at the time I was saying to DP that the first one was like him, the boy as it was quick off the mark but the second was more like me, (the girl), wanting to check things out first then go forward. so I've just always thought it was a girl. but who knows. I hope we get to find out.

I was naughty and did another test and it's much lighter. but I had drunk nearly 2L over a few hours before and had gone to the toilet only an hour or so early, so I'm calling it a dilution error/anomaly and trying not to stress. I don't think the real line would've dropped that quickly - last time it happened over a few days. (at least that's what I'm telling myself!!) I still have the other 'symptoms' so that's keeping me calm that it's still there.

I hope your second line starts getting darker over next few days.

Well that was a bad idea wasn't it Luv??? And now you know why!!!

FMU only from here on in young lady!!!!

P.S...Yes, the line would fade over a number of days. I know that's how it happened with my Chem.

THIS. I agree 100% with @BIB. Where your health is concerned you are entitled to see as many people as you need to in order to get yourself well.

And frankly, if your current FS isn't on board with that I'd be looking around for another one who is more compassionate and truly has your best interests at heart

Stick wh0re! Just couldn't help yourself could you?!

And yes, I agree. After drinking 2 litres of liquid your wee would be as weak as water.

    Everything is fine hon

@Precious40 sorry, just catching up. That's weird as they did SEE the sac at the first US..... it was just empty? Surely they would have said if it was in the wrong place too? Wow, really hope the scan tomorrow enlightens you.

Thanks ladies. You are truly awesome.

I did see this black mass in my left tube on the ultrasound. He even took a photo of it. And did say if they don't see it, tell them it's there and look again. Lol

I just need to work out by tomorrow who I want to do the laparoscopic surgery. My clink or the new FS I've found

He seemed very interned in NK testing and my MTHFR gene. Which is what I've been looking for. Finally

For those ladies that have two FS. Is it hard to keep all the info in. One FS says this while the other says this. Do you tell them your seeing someone else? I feel like I'm cheating some how. Will one contradict the other?
