@Summer How about devouring a whole packet of frozen Mint Slices?! Any lining benefits there?? My last (PMT) hurrah before attempting to be 'good'.
I should clarify that my DS sees his Dad 5 days a week (3 times a week after work at my house to do DS's bedtime routine) then most w.ends at Dad's house including staying Saturday night if DS wishes. It means I see my ex 5 days a week, less than ideal for me, but great for my DS.

It is a shame that it gets so complicated - I totally see the bio-mums side of things, but I also see my DH and how much he hurts not being involved day-to-day, having to put up with negative stuff being said about him to his DSS all the time, and how much he wants to be an involved parent.

So you're on this train too @Corbes? It really sucks and the it is so hard for the fathers who have to prove that they're good parents and it's just assumed that the mother is. Because bio-mum is campaigning for less time for DSS with DH we know that she definitely isn't thinking about his best interests but is getting back at DH for leaving her.

I'm sure I read a study on Mint Slices and they had a 50% better success rate on lining benefits as opposed to Tim Tams.
So I think you're on the right track there

Wow, you are an awesome Mum! So understanding and putting DS first even though it would be difficult to have to see your ex so often. Even though DH & ex are fairly amicable (or were!) the week about means that on change over we drop DSS at school and his Mum picks him up, so very little face to face contact, which would be good. Maybe when your DS starts school you will be able to do some of those things which mean less contact for you with your ex but not less for your DS.

I asked the nurse about doing some of the progynova PV & she just waffled a bit about continuing 'as is' for now, and if things aren't looking good on Thursday then things will be re-evaluated & LB will advise on what next. Right.

So I've got a few questions I'm hoping u girls can answer......

    1. When I start taking progesterone does my lining stop growing? I know I'll still have to take the progynova but it won't have any additional affect will it? So let's say I have a scan on Thursday & my lining is JUST 6, if they want me to start progesterone Friday, then that's it right? It won't grow any further?

    2. If I'm on a 'HRT FET' is it wise for me to be changing 'anything' without Monash knowing about it? IE, if I decided to pop a few extra progynova? It worries me a little the idea of messing with the dosages incase it changes something that causes a problem.

    3. Why aren't there any bloods done during this HRT FET cycle??? In November I'm sure it was my estrogen levels that were getting so high that there was no chance of doing a fresh transfer even if I wanted to (risk of OHSS), also my progesterone got too high as well. So if I take even more estrogen aren't I taking the chance that my levels will get too high - or doesn't that matter if I'm not ovulating anyway?

Help... I'm trying to be positive.. DP just did some maths and estimated that going by my current lining growth per day, that by Thursday I 'could' be around 7... I'd be ok with that..

    1. Yes it will Luv. Estrogen is what's needed to grow your lining so as soon as you start taking the P4 that's that.

    2. You wouldn't be changing anything, just increasing your dose of estrogen to help your lining grow a bit more between now and Thurs (I'd do an extra patch too for good measure!!). Increasing the estrogen isn't going to mess with anything as you're only using it to grow the lining which, once progesterone is started, will stop.

    3. NFI Luv r.e BT's and not applicable when doing a FET r.e E2 levels. It's about the lining measurement.

@Charlie74 I can't add anything further to BiB's response...but what I would say is you may need to go rouge! How would you feel about cancelling the cycle? How would you feel about proceeding with a 6mm lining? Would you have liked to have tried the Viagra? Fingers super crossed for 7mm plus on Thursday!!

@Charlie74. This hrt FET cycle I had blood tests to check my estrogen. Have you not? Or they just haven't told you your levels?
