Default Child seats 0-8yrs old or 4-8yrs old

Hello all, I'm thinking of getting either another child seat for my 4 yr old or a booster seat.
What child seat can you recommend please and are all booster seats the same?

We have dd in the infasecure evolve. It's a 6mth-8yr (approx) seat and they can remain in the 5pt harness right through until 8yrs

I just got a comfi caprice (6mnth-8yrs) on sale for $189 at Baby Bounce (qld ex my baby warehouse) for 2yr dd. Putting the new bub in our existing Kompressor Caprice.

Eta-this one only harness to approx 4yr. Dd is 97th%ile for height and at 21months isnt much over the lower shoulder markers so I reckon I'll be able to harness past 4yr.

We will be getting the evolve or the bigw version (can't remember what it's called) for our car when DS3 grows out of his capsule in 9-10 months time. Mum and dad are about to get the rally as for the amount of times he will be in it I just can't make them pay double for the evolve.

Evolve here. Love it. I'm anti booster seats when there's safer products on the market

We have the genesis ( basically big w's version of the evolve...same seat, different fabric and only comes in black) . Gets the thumbs up from me and most importantly, from ds.
