Brie (preferably triple cream) or Camembert, a decent ceddar and a stinky blue. Accompaniments would be Coles garlic crackers, Coles rosemary crackers, ciabatta and maybe some quince paste and strawberries.

    And wine.

Ooo! I love cheese! At Christmas we had my ideal cheese platter.

    King island Camembert
    Bruny Island otto http://www.brunyislandcheese.com.au/meet-cheeses/otto/
Grandvewe blondie and white pearl http://grandvewe.com.au/product-category/sheep-cheese/
    Vintage cheddar
    Blue

Accompanied by warmed olives, pita chips, water crackers, quince paste, and terrine.

    Heaven!

This is the thread for me!

I always have to have a triple cream Brie, really sharp cheddar and quince paste.

Well Degrassi, being that I'm your cheese platter buddy, I'm sure you know I love cheese 😊.
A good cheese platter must have blue cheese, goat's cheese, sharp vintage, brie/camembert and a good cheddar.

Good crackers or Lavosh bread, not those wafer thin, flimsy crackers that break as soon as you use them.

Pear, grapes, red wine, quince paste, pesto, olives, tapenade are all yummy accompaniments, as are grissini sticks etc.

I'm so not fussy, mention cheese platter and I'm there! ☺️

I usually do no more than 3 varieties and usually use:

    Asiago
    Really good cheddar
    Goats cheese
    Triple cream Brie
    Plus
    Crusty bread
    Lavosh crackers
    Olives
