    Default Cheese platter chatter

I'm a bit of a cheese addict. I'm known for it.

Let's say you're having 5 girlfriends over for wine & cheese - what do you put on your platter?

    Here's mine:

    Brie
    Port Salut
    Sharp vintage tasty
    Marinated feta
    Smoked cheddar

    Non-cheese accompaniments:

    Crackers
    French bread rounds
    Good quality green olives, marinated
    Semi dried tomatoes
    Quince paste

    Let the cheese chat begin!

It's a sad day when no one wants to talk cheese.

I'm not flash at the accompaniments (usually sundried tomatoes, crackers, Polish sausage or something).

I love Brie! Or Camembert. And I love a good vintage cheddar. There's also a garlic & chives feta that you can only get at the Margaret River cheese factory that is one of my all time favourites.

I'm supposed to be avoiding dairy at the moment while I'm bfing DD2. This isn't helping!

I'm not even remotely fancy. I stick to my mature cheddars, a few varieties of Dutch cheeses (my heritage so what I grew up with) and stick them with Jatz, cabanossi or Kabana and some dips maybe. I also don't drink wine ha

    Smoked Dutch

    With

Oooh right now I hate being pregnant! I love cheese, and cheese platters. (Funnily enough I hate cheese on sandwiches). I make my own quince paste, and pickles for it. My favourite pickle at the moment is pickled watermelon rind. So good.
