I made these last week and although they were supposed to be brownies they were more like a basic chocolate cake. I'm not sure how it will work as cupcakes and guessing they won't rise as much as normal cakes but I was surprised how much like a normal cake it was.

    Brownies

    2 cup plain flour
    2 cups sugar
    3/4 cup cocoa
    1 tsp baking powder
    1 tsp salt
    1 cup water
    1 cup veg oil
    1 tsp van extract

    175 for about 25 mins

Also you can buy egg replacer which is a powder. I've not used it much so not sure if it works well.

Can you make the cake mix + can of softdrink cakes?

I've made them and they turned out great! No egg needed.

You can use a chocolate cake mix and fanta for choc orange, or vanilla cake mix and creaming soda etc. If you google it you will find heaps of ideas! X

You can use Apple purée or banana to replace egg.
