Did any of you ladies notice much of a weight gain leading up to your transfer? Each time the moment I go on the pill I start putting on weight and then some with the progynova.

I can put weight on thinking about it...lol did you follow any particular diet to try and limit the weight gain, I know it will be all worth it if I get a BFP but I want to feel good about myself too and try and keep it to a minimum.

I found the pred gifted me an extra kilo or two ... Grrr ... And hair loss :-/ but otherwise I just tried to stick with my normal diet. They say to limit sugar and salt when on pred, but how can you do that when the stupid drug makes you CRAVE it!!!! Easy come easy go I reckon :-)

Weight gain yes for sure. But what can you do? I was on Zoladex and Progynova and i think i have put on probably 3 or 4kgs. Can't do my pants up 😊. But its such a small price to pay. I'm with Vix so hard to cut down on salt and suger. I crave the stuff too.

Yes - she is a very patient woman. Answered my questions for over 12 months before I could go over for treatment. I had to save up enough money first!

My naturopath specialises in womens health/hormones/fertility, digestive issues and fatigue... so I thought that pretty well sums me up... so I thought he would be good. My blood was a big issue (I was anemic), so that needing building up, plus parasite issues. Other supps included fish oil (omega 3), minerals, b complex, and probiotics. Everyone is different so it is best if you get checked out and get something tailored for you. The naturopathic supplements are so much better than the ones in the chemist.

I tried acupuncture during ivf, but not during DE. I've been treated in the past with acupuncture for a leg injury and found it was the only treatment that worked. However for ivf I became extremely sensitive to it and could not continue with it. But I know it does work for others. I've read on a forum somewhere that some women were getting treated with Acupuncture in Greece, in the transfer room, prior to the DE transfer... with the approval of the clinic. So if you want that done, just mention it to your clinic/nurse. My understanding is it works best if you have a series of treatments - not just one.

    Hi @SharonG!

I thought my weight gain was from eating all of that yummy Greek food while I was away! YUMMMM... the best food I've EVER eaten! Soooo flavorsome! DH and I are still raving about it. DH wasn't taking any hormone pills and he has gained a couple of kilos too!!

I haven't started craving salt or sugar... yet (?)
