So arrived Sunday, had the transfer Monday, and flew home Tuesday. I stayed at the St George in Kolonaki, 5 mins by taxi from the clinic and so much nicer than the other hotels local to the clinics, much better restaurants/cafes, strolling areas too. I went to bed each arvo around 3:00 or 4:00 and didn't try and adjust to the time zone which helped. When I got home I had a little trouble getting to sleep at night, but otherwise all good. Just took carry on luggage so was pretty quick getting out of the airport too which was great. I managed to do it and only take one day off work which was also handy - I stayed on top of emails etc while away so most of my clients didn't even know I was in leave.
I get a bit nervous at this stage of pregnancy though, so just have everything crossed it all goes well from here and I can then hang up my IVF hat with relief!
You sneaky thing. Yes i think it was me that you spoke to sitting in reception. I am quite tall and had that deer in headlights look on my face. I left wishing that i had spoken more to the other Aussie lady there. I was a bit overwhelmed and having another Aussie there was quite comforting actually. So happy for you. X
