Thank you ladies!!! I'm going to push for patches from day 3 and the pills. I've had 4 d&c's but I refuse to believe my lining is that thin. So encouraging to here that upping the dose helps.
@Vixjc, my FS thinks that maybe the scraping during the d&c has caused thin lining, I really don't buy it. I just had a lap and hysteroscopy done which came back all good so I find it hard to believe that it's a lining issue seeing as how my issue isn't implantation it's chromosomal issues and issues at the mitochondrial level with the embryos. Hope that makes sense .
Also, what thickness does your clinic view as acceptable? Mine will transfer at 8mm.
Hello Ladies and welcome AussieAmerican.
I'm on to I think my forth day of meds for Serum. Just count the Clexane injection sites and I will know lol.
@AussieAmerican I've got my lining scan on Saturday to see where I'm at. I just had a hysteroscopy and D &C so hope all is good. I've never had lining issues before but it's been 2 years since my last ivf so things may have changed. Peny at Serum has me on 4 progy. We will see how we go.
Currently waiting to find out when Peny wants me at Serum. I think it will be a quick turn a round. Lucky I have the whole month off work. @Vixjc as you went to Serum Is it right that they work a bit different with the donor cycle. Does she have a couple of donors going at once and you get the one that is ready at the tight time and the other goes to embryo donation? I think that's what I read on the Fertility friends site ages ago. When did Peny give you the green light to book your flights and go?
I'm such an organiser and this waiting game is a killer.
Hope everyone has enjoyed the long weekend.
When we cycled in 2014 I just gave Penny a 6 day window and said 'I need to receive the transfer some time in that 6 days!'. She timed the whole thing and I received a fresh transfer on about day 3. I imagine you'd get between 5-7 days notice if transfer day? I think it's usually around 17-22 days from when you start meds? So you're on the home stretch my dear! I'm guessing you'll be in Athens for mid April.
Just a tip, cabbies always get confused about where Serum is (it's on a narrow street parallel to a main road. It helps to have printed a map of that area. Or use her nephew for your first trip to the clinic till you get accustomed to the landmarks and can tell them where to stop.
