    Default Which is best for nausea?

    Was Zofran or Maxalon better for nausea for you?

    I've only vomited a couple of times, but the nausea is awful and lasts allllll day.

    I'm going to get something for it today as I have a major uni exam tomorrow and won't be able to get through it without something to control the nausea.

    None of my normal tricks are working anymore (ginger, snacking, etc).

    Zofran works best for me, but i have nausea all day so I do a combination of zofran and maxalon.

    Last pregnancy maxalon worked. This time it just made me really sleepy.

    I changed to zofran which worked amazingly... For a week. Then it just made me feel crappy, didn't stop my nausea and made me really constipated (sorry TMI).

    If you take zofran, you need to be drinking so much water to counteract the medicine-induced constipation.

    Neither zofran nor maxalon worked for me. I ended up taking prednisolone until 36 weeks, it made life manageable.

    I got some zofran and it's worked well so far today. It's taken the edge off the nausea enough that I can function.

    Have been drinking heaps of water and got some benefiber as well!

    Zofran always worked for me. Maxalon doesn't tend to stop spewing for some reason. As a pp said be careful about constipation on Zofran though and drink loads of water..i got it really bad on Zofran.

    Hi ladies
    I got Prescribed zofran today and I took one then went home and googled side effects and read all these things about it causing birth defects and all these legal cases currently going on in the US
    so now I'm super scared and just wondering if anyone else has heard of these potential effects?
