    Default Premenopause IVF

Hello. I'm 23 and I've been told I am going through Premenopause.
I want to carry my partners children (female couple) and we will use her eggs. We then also need a donor. It seems like such a complicated process and I assume expensive.
My question here, has anyone fallen pregnant through IVF during menopause or Premenopause?
Also of so how many attempts did it take?
And a rough cost for everything ?

I feel like such a burden to my partner, I'm only 23 and have the egg count of a 70 year old.
We need her eggs, does she need self injections for the egg collection process ?
It's all so confusing, our first fertility appointment is next month (Feb 2016).
How long usually does the fertility process take, From egg collection to insemination ?
I'm sure my dr can answer all of my questions but I only have a 30min appt and as you can imagine I'm so anxious !
Thank you for any help, feedback or input it is extremely appreciated !

Hi @Mippy. I don't have much advice for you, but maybe you might find some Bubhub friends in the Same Sex Parents TTC thread. Good luck!

The way the mid to late 40s ladies often get pregnant is thru donor eggs, they are menopausal or pre menopausal so ur potentially no diff probably still better off! If ur partner carries she could poss just do iui which is no particular big deal ( sperm inserted into uterus just like embies are with ivf it's done awake they just time ur cycle) if u are carrying she's have to do egg collection which involves injections in stim cycle, she'd potentially just be a healthier egg producer than many doing ivf....the jabs weren't too bad, gives u an appreciation for the bit of a tire round ur mid rift as this is the least painful spot to jab, wished a had a bit more that month fat wise!
