I started a cert 3 in childcare a couple of years ago but couldn't get into it. I did a work placement but found it hard to start at 6am when i had school aged children. I withdrew. Depending on who your cert 3 is through, they should have handbooks with a glossary...if not maybe write down the words you are having difficulty with and google....some different websites you could look up are ACCC (who i started mine through and also Sage institute. I've seen the odd ad on tv about them).

does the course material or notes have any guides that can help you with the terminology?

otherwise you could just try googling the terms you're unsure of?

or just post a list here and see if other hubbers may be able to help you?

    *crickets*

I go blank as soon as I see the word framework. sounds like they're after a long airy fairy response too.

eta: I'm not a childcare worker though. someone in the field may be able to point you in the right direction.

It's the national standard to which all childcare establishments follow in Australia...if you send me your email in a PM, I have some info I found on a USB that I can send to you, from when I was studying...it should come in handy for you.
