Hey there @Tinachris. Looks like it was a disappointing morning for you. Hugs . I was in early with Charlotte and warren for my scan this morning as well. It must have been the day for him to mention going to a cheaper clinic....no problem here on the scan side of things for us (never have a problem producing eggs) it's the egg quality and chromosomal sperm issue for us. Basically DH and I suck at making embryos. Warren suggested the donor sperm path for us or the cheaper clinic. We are up to (feel like I loose count sometimes) 11 stim cycles and 2 FET resulting in 1 pregnancy which was chromosomaly abnormal.

It is so heartbreaking when you put so much time and effort it taking your supplements, exercising, staying positive...and everything else that goes along with it...no one can truly understand the journey and how heartbreaking it is...constantly...

As the girls have said, and I hear about it all the time, it truly only takes one and this could be the cycle for you...how amazing would that be! Hoping Monday morning runs smoothly for you. I'll be waiting for the update.

Thanks @Keepontryin13 yeah it must of been the morning for suggesting cheaper clinics. I looked at myivf prices and it's SO cheap. Yes, it's heartbreaking. I've only done 3 stim cycles, including this one.
Yeah, it would be amazing if this resulted in a take home baby, but ... Sigh.

I'n reallt sorry to read your posts @Tinachris and @keepontrying13. It is a hard journey that is for sure & you always tell yourself that if you keep going one day it will work x. It is hard coming to terms with donor sperm or embryos at first but for me it was a decision made easily enough with Wazza's guidance. I do completely understand it is not for everyone though and can take some getting used to . I also know a few people who use the cheap clinics but do wazza protocols.
My scan yesterday my lining was 5 on day 9 so wazza has I think kitchen sinked me I have added on Trental, Viagra and Prognoyva plus increased my sandrena and clexane. On top od the oistrogen tablets, prednisone and feldene. Re scan next week. On the up side I met a few other wazza ladies and my donor has 20 decent follicles.
Today I am tired, several big days and an early flight home have hit me 😪

How exciting for you @Maxwellsmum ! You must be so excited (and obviously exhausted!)

I just need to give it a bit more of a go with my own eggs..and if that fails, then we are probably going to be very interested in the travelling donor program. How exciting for 20 good follies your baby is in there!! How surreal and exciting for you and your family x

excellent news on the scan front @mazwellsmum. 20 follies is a great number! I would consider donor sperm/egg for sure but DH is adamant we can fall pregnant ourselves. For me.... I'm tired. It's been such a long 4-5 years and my body in particular the end of last year has had enough. I never thought I would be the girl that has done 11+cycles. Just goes to show it doesn't work for everyone quickly.

I'm still in Brisbane (the nasty place as I like to call it). DH is joint me tomorrow arvo. Late EPU time means we have to stay Monday night as well which sucks but hopefully will be all worth it. When do you think EPU will be for your donor?

Hopefully a successful week coming up for a few of us!

Thanks hon. Thursday night was fabulous and so easy. My donor is a sweetheart. So grounded, intelligent, talented with blue eyes, brown hair and olive skin like me. Though she looks nothing like me other that that. Cute dimples like my DH, DS and DSS. Her dad is also German/Austrian ancestry like mine, and her mum English background like my mum. Her brother is tall and sporty like my
Boys and I just think all round she's a great match for us. Sigh. Just need those golden eggs to dance with DH's boys and a baby we will make! She's got 14 follies at day 8 scan so far so good. My donor is going to travel again to Asia this year (not to donate, to teach English) and we've invited her to come again to Aus to visit and see more of the country as 10 days here isn't much and she's pretty bound to Brisbane and the GC. I'm taking her to the beach next weekend for a trip with the fam.

Yep, ETs with Wazza are a surprising experience! Singing, skipping, Valium and brandy. Will your DP be with you? You'll definitely need a driver.

I've done 7 stim cycles - four with Wazza and this is our first FET. We are transferring two PGD normals, but have done a fresh PGD normal transfer before, so know it's not a guarantee...
@Gagingi so excited for your FET. Hoping these are the 2 golden embryos for you and your frosties becomes your snow baby/s. I think there's a chance you'll pass my donor but not me.. I can't get the morning off on 14th to do intralipids as I have a major work event so I may skip it or do the following day..

Oh thanks for the hints re transfer. Ill get my DH to bring me home for sure if I get the Valium and Brandy treatment. Perhaps a woozy birthday lunch together after we're done. Does your partner/Hubby get to watch?? At life fertility glen used to drag my DH in to see the transfer and see it go in. You can't miss this part of the show, he'd say.

Yep DH definitely attends - it's such a scientific process so we very much want us to both be as involved as possible and Wazza is very supportive of that too. DH wants to be able to tell the bubba all about what was happening at that moment (time, music - with Wazza that will be country - who was there etc) and knows I'm not taking that in. Wazza likes you to have DTD that morning too as that has been shown to help with implantation so you'll need him for that. We go out for lunch afterwards as even though I'm a bit out of it, the excitement and hope makes up for it.

Well last night was certainly rough. I spent a bit of it throwing up and feeling very unwell. Either the new meds causing an ajustment issue or I caught a bug.. Feeling better now so will see how today goes. It gets a bit scary when your're on that much medication that you just can't even narrow it down. But I did add in some new ones yesterday. OMG what we put ourselves and our bodies through & I just keep thinking when will it ever end 😭
