    @Chyna - glad to hear your appointment went well hun, hope your blood test can tell you the info you need in regards your ovulation. I was quite the opposite with the needles initially it was all quite overwhelming but unfortunately has become second nature. Whatever way you decide to take things for your next step I hope it all goes well hun and brings you a sticky bub x

    You'll be right @Chyna! Good that things are progressing well. I'd just take it slowly in mixing the Pregnyl and then the injection is quite easy, but understandably a bit daunting the first time. My DH cannot be around for the needles, but is supportive in other ways. xo

    Great news that you are surging @Chyna and as Gagingi said hun the needle will be fine just take your time with the mixing. I always get DH to break open the glass vials as that always scares me, think the trick is doing it quickly and confidently. Good luck hun x

    @Chyna - well done hun

    Yes @Charlie74 I use the nitro dur patches and was told to wear them on my feet for 12 hrs overnight, I was warned about them causing headaches think that's why they advise overnight but it hasn't been an issue for me luckily.

    No I wasn't given a reason why but that was definitely the instruction from both him and his nurse Catherine, they both said to place them on the tops the feet. I have heard the headaches can ease once you get use to them but was advised to use mersyndol if they were unbearable.

    Hi ladies sorry to crash this thread. My 1st appointment with wazza is in a couple of weeks. Usually how long after your first appointment do you start a cycle. Ive heard he likes you on egg quality meds for at least 3months. I started vitamin sups in feb. But not on anything else.

    Hey @infinity888, me again! We started immediately and I was only on Elevit (which he doesn't like). I think I was about CD7 at first appointment and we would have started down-regging CD20. In retrospect it might have been better to wait for the supplements, DHEA, metformin etc to kick-in for a bit, but in your 40s there is not really time. I imagine he'll tailor it to you.
