BlondeinBrisvegas, but the expense to the patient is ridiculous. There is no OOP at St Andrews, so I thought it must be pretty run of the mill. Hopefully @yjeu you won't need it, or Wazza can persuade them to get it in - or he might have another treatment option for you?
Looking forward to my apt with Wazza tomorrow. Fingers crossed af arrives soon
Thanks Gagingi he was in fine form. I love him hey just brightens up your day. I'm happy to hear your went well. We had a good chat as I'm wanting to know when will ivulate or how can i tell as i dont normally have signs previously. Didnt know about ewcm until I jumped on here.
So we now have a few options.. he said to me if i was his daughter he'd be offering ivf straight up even thought we got preg ourselves. Due to my age. So had some bloods done today and will see when or if I'm near or have ovulated. Did a scan and my lining is nice and thick which is great as was prev very thin. So have to wait till 4pm to get bt results. Then he's given me some pregnyl and a booster if I've not ovulated?? It's my 1st time with all of this so a bit overwhelming at moment. I'm pretty good with needles so the thought of jabbing myself is a bit exciting lol. He gave me 3 options. The 3rd being ivf mentioned his fees then the clinic at springwood and also monash out at north lakes. So we have a bit of thinking to do. Depends on bloods this arvo.
@Chyna I'm glad your appointment went well. He does give you lots of info, but is always happy to clarify and his team is great too. He is very funny as well and when doing AR we all need as many laughs as possible!
I've never heard of anybody being excited to give themselves a needle! I wonder how long that will last if you go down the IVF route?
Good luck with your BT results and decision making.
