Well best I jump back in. We have just seen Warren and he is happy for us to do a FET next cycle. This will be our first ever frozen transfer but he said with all our past cycles and the quality of our frosties we have about 30% chance.
So we will be doing a FET in mid May, who else will be cycling with me?
My lining today (day 15) looked "beautiful" and I'm about to ovulate so he said to go home and get busy. Very unlikely to work but it's worth a try.
There was another lady there today with a beautiful little boy who was trying to give DH toys. His name was Harry, same as what we named our little guy so that tugged at the old heartstrings.
mummymaybe. We've just done our first FET (half-way through TWW) and I've found it so much easier on the body. I hope you do too. I still look preggars, but am on 25mg pred and Pregnyl boosters, so that would explain that. I've found it less stressful too, it's only now that I'm half-way through TWW that reality is setting in that I've had the transfer and I'm symptom spotting (which is stupid given support drugs).
@mummymaybe - Oh hun it must be so hard going down this road again, huge big hugs. Great that you are ready to go with an FET hin as the girls have said its much easier on the body. Looks like me you and @mrsparso will be cycling together when Warren returns off his break unless you catch that egg you have hun and it can happen.
Hi everyone been a bit quiet as our first attempt at day 5 transfer ended in tears and a trip home after chatting to a very worried Warren. It seems we still only had a morula on day five when they did their 7am check. Fast forward to 11am when I was a crying mess at home and my Vallium had worn off, there was a call to say 3 had rallied to cavitating morulas and the scientists had a little more hope they may make day 6 blasts.
So yesterday off we went again after our Wednesday practice run and had a 5BB transferred, my first ever Wazza transfer xperience complete with brandy and singing and DH and I holding hands and made to humm down the corridor. We also have 2 on ice, two 4BCs. So from nothing to something we are very very grateful. Thanks everyone for your well wishes. Xxx
MamaKes how stressful. On our last stim cycle we were told we'd have nothing 2 times (once due to embryologist communication skills) and eventually two rallied (but only 1 was PGD normal). It was so stressful and lots of tears were spilt. With our transfer there were more dramas as it looked at one point as if they'd have to defrost the embie the day before making it a day 7 and that would likely have killed it. Thank god Warren sorted that out for us. It was all so stressful - I've lived a high stress life, but it drove my cortisol levels sky high. It took a while for me to de-stress afterwards, so please be extra gentle on yourself.
Fingers, toes, and everything crossed for you.
Omg @MamaKes that's so stressful after everything you've gone thru to get those eggs!!!!! You poor thing!! I'm so relieved to hear you got some embies in the end!!! What a stressful time for you xxx I was wondering how you were going after transfer and didn't see anything here.
