Default What is your 'pick me up' food?

I am such a foodie. I think about what I'm going to eat for dinner while I'm scoffing my breakfast in the morning! I have subscriptions to no less than three food magazines. I watch Masterchef and MKR. I list baking as my hobby!

So just for fun, what is your go to 'pick me up' food? What food item would you step over your own Mother to get your hands on? What would be your last meal?

For me - CAKE! A slice of sponge cake with cream and icing can turn a bad day into a good one for me

Oh lordy, don't get me started on food! One of my passions too A bit too much lately. I'm going to have to settle down as I'm not appreciating my physique right now

Anyway, back to topic. Two of my faves are a good quality pizza or having a Mexican chow down at Guzman Y Gomez (I like the spicy pork burritos & nachos best).

I also LOVE a cheese platter.

Ooooh, pizza! I forgot about pizza!

The thing with pizza is, even when it's bad it's still pretty good

I just had chocolate fudge ice cream for breakfast

I love bread, god, I love hot buttered bread. Can't have it in the house. Or mayonnaise.

    Mangos and berries. CHEESE. PATE.

Practically any food made with or poached in booze.

    Mums homemade lasagne...

But after travelling overseas it's always plain old Vegemite on toast to relieve my homesickness!
