I've heard about this. Just worried that if I follow a specific gender swaying diet etc it would make gender disappointment a likelihood!
    Did it work for you?

DH didn't want no 3 and I did. We had the worst arguments over it.

    Then he slowly caved.

I just felt like there was someone missing, someone needed to be here and they weren't yet.

Ds3 is 2 next week and he's the best. Don't know what we did without him. DH adores him as we all do, and our family feels complete.

If I were younger I would have considered 4 but pregnancy is never easy for me and id rather now focus on providing everything and working hard for the kids I do have.

It is hard some days but my eldest is a great babysitter (he's only 5 lol) but they all have great fun together. The house is never spotless and that's probably what bothers me the most.

I researched this sway idea. Opinion is both that it works, and tgat it's an old wives tale. I REALLY want a girl too, but I worry about gender disappointment too. Olus I O early (CD 12) so there's no way I can keep up with the DTD demands for swaying for a girl.

I would never regret having my third baby (who was a happy accident!) but at 8 weeks old, she's certainly thrown our lives into a spin. We're outnumbered!
There just aren't enough hands at bedtime, dinnertime, bath time etc. I'm hoping it gets easier in a year or so. Because it's pretty chaotic and stressful right now. But I expected that. And in future I will love it I'm sure.

I swayed loosely with both my kids and got girls (our preference!) both times. We did cranberry tablets, calcium intake upped, only DtD every second day from period to a few days before O. Not sure if it worked or we were meant to get girls anyway but worth a shot

For me it was a few months, you can also get ph test strips to test vaginal ph levels
