    Default Multiple positive OPK tests - causes?

    Hi everyone,

    Can I please ask how long everyone gets positive OPK's for? I've only ever used digitals so stopped after the initial surge, this time I used both strips and digital and kept testing with strips after the first positive. I'm now on day 4 of positives (the line may be a little less strong now but still equal to base line). I'm still cramping and I'm worried I haven't ovulated/ having problems releasing the egg (I've had luteal cysts before so worried about interference) Anyone else have similar issues or doctors advice on the matter?

    The attached pics are the last 2 days of tests (didn't save the others as I didn't expect them to last).

    Sorry don't have any info regarding the cause of multiple OPKs but just wanted to let you know that I used this brand for the first time last month and also came up with multiple positives.... Even got darker after a strong positive. First time it happened as well.

    Wondering now if it's the tests... Super sensitive or something?

    Thanks Meld85! I do think they are sensitive but I also tested with a clear blue digital today (with the same holder but after the 2 day 'peak' smiley face had gone) and got another peak face so definitely have LH there. I've done some reading and it is common to last for a few days (catch the surge on the way up, second day peak, then downwards) 4 days a bit more unusual and can indicate difficulty to release the egg so might go to the doctors to be on the sure side.

    It indicates a surge in your LH levels, which can happen without ovulation. Opks are not a sure way to tell if you have ovulated unfortunately

    I have been getting positive tests for the past week using this strip test brand (test line continuously darker than control line). Today was the first day I got anything other than the empty circle on the same digital test. Digital test went straight to peak.... Go figure!
