I am amused at how stressed out DH is getting DS1 ready for kindy all by himself this morning, while I lie here trapped by a breastfeeding baby. Should I ask him for coffee to make things interesting? 😂

I am spending a large part of the day in the city today.

Taking my mum to the bus terminal. Then will hang out in the city for an hour or two. Then lunch with DH. Then the ob. Then I need to make cupcakes for DS to share at childcare. No time for a nap though.

bored stupid. It's a long weekend here, skeleton staff who usually work on the ward rather than here (think I could tell them more about how things operate here than they know) & I am one of 2 patients who are stuck without leave.

Apparently I can't be trusted to drive the almost 1hr to home for the weekend, nor am I trusted to attend a high school information night for my child who starts high school next year despite providing proof that is why I want to go home.

Can anyone tell I'm hating it here

Ridiculously excited to be taking DS to the Easter show next week. I've been having such a rough time lately and when mum mentioned it, I felt like a kid at Christmas. Mum is an exhibitor at the show and has passes for us to get in which means I can afford to go!! Can't wait!

Sitting quietly with a cup of tea, a couple of biscuits and reading Harry Potter while DS sleeps. What I should be doing is finishing the cleaning and the loads of laundry. But I am in need of some self care today.

I'm doing similar. I've put dinner in the slow cooker and I'm having a quiet lie down. The laundry can wait and if I look up, I can't see the floors. I'm in Sydney and we've just had the cool change finally come through. I'm going to enjoy some comfort.

Me three. DS2 is sick again so we have done school drop off, a little shop, been to the GP, had a quick coffee date, taken a coffee in to DH at work and just got home. Bub had fallen asleep and transferred to the cit by some miracle so it's Netflix time, baby! I'll ignore the piles of washing and sticky floors for now.
