Arrived at work today and there was a bloke with a flat tyre. I think he was new as he claims he didn't see the concrete lane barrier/didn't know it was there. He asked to borrow my jack arm and the tyre iron, which I kindly leant him. He said he'd place it under my car behind the drivers front wheel. Get back to my car tonight and nothing is there. No sign of it. So either he's nicked off with it, or someone else has.

I'll check in with the carpark guys tomorrow in case someone handed it in, and I'll put a notice on the notice board, but I'm a bit peeved. Knowing my luck I'll get a flat tyre now and not have the tools to change it! (Well, actually I shouldn't as they're relatively new, but Murphy's law...)
That's sucks. You have no idea how many people that happens to...

Aww that's terrible. I consider myself to be a kind person but people who don't have the decency make it hard.

    Oops quoted the wrong paragraph.

Yeah it's really bugging me. Not so much that I want to cry, but enough that it's putting me off helping people by lending them things. If I didn't have to get to work I would've stayed and waited until he'd finished.

feeling really peeved off for some reason. nothing in particular has happened, just feel short of patience and snippy towards others.

I just shouted at dh for suggesting his brother might ask for help moving house the day after my due date. although he was stupid for even saying such a thing if you ask me. as if he should even be in the headspace of thinking about anyone else when we are due!!

feeling a bit headachey and blah too. sigh.

I am moving stuff from pantry to my freezer. I was given a 6 foot chest freezer. It so empty. So I decided to move my baking and pasta etc to the freezer as my pantry is smaller than I would like.
Anyhow. My mum buys my kids put cake mixes that I rarely use. I prefer to cook from scratch. They have been in the little side cupboards next to range hood and in pantry. I didn't realise how many I had. This isn't even all of them.

I think I need to make today a baking day.

Very excited and proud of my mum. She has just gone and organised to buy her first ever brand new car, at the age of (almost) 66! It's a little Hyundai Accent. I want to get her something cool for it but not sure what. I'll get her a funky key ring but want to get something else as well.
