Yep. Had bubs this morning at 4.30am after a fast labour.

I was expecting an okish day/night until tomorrow but she wants to feed all day and apparently all night long.

    Congrats!!

My first two were born in the morning 8&9 am and slept all morning and early arvo then woke up and fed all night long. Number 3 was born at 10pm and slept all that night and then fed all day the next day so I recon that's what you get with a morning baby.

Good thing about the mammoth feeding was my milk came in day 2 every time and then they settled a little!!

    Thanks everyone.

Well it seemed to be the night for it in hospital. Loads of babies were unsettled and the midwives looked after some bubs for a few hours to let some mums sleep.

DD settled better after 2ish so I got a few longer stretches of sleep. So I am tired but feeling better.

I am super hungry though. BF surely makes you super hungry/thirsty.

Oh gosh doesn't it? I was drinking litres of water and eating constantly for the first few weeks. Forgot about all that! Congrats again. DD will settle once your milk comes in. DS2 didn't sleep at all in hospital unless on DH chest. Was better when we got home.

sore - when i was told about the side effects of ect i was warned of headaches and memory loss (which 1 treatment in has been minimal). Noone told me about the massively sore all over muscles that are making me feel like I've overdone it at the gym. Not sure i can handle this soreness for a month. On the plus side I actually felt like and ate some lunch today for the first time in months which I'm told is a good sign that ect may help
