    Yep finally ready.

Uniforms including socks, undies and shoes are hanging on the back of the couch ready and waiting.

    Lunches made.

All books and stationary was dropped at school on Friday so don't have to worry about that.

    Bags ready by the door.

The difference is incredible. I think it will be about $250 for all three but when you add in the uniforms, and truck load of books/supplies - no such thing as a free education.

I thought I was doing OK until I discovered 6 scrap books at the bottom of the book pack that I haven't covered yet. I left dd at home with dh while I made a last minute day to the shops to see if I could get some more contact but there was none. When I got home, she had hidden the six scrap books around the house. So far we have turned up 5. Grrr.

Catholic school here, kids in prep and year 3. We supply all stationary and books including text books (handwriting, maths etc), school supplies a couple of additional books and charge the cost to our term 1 fees.

Previous school (also catholic) everything was provided for Preps. All other primary grades we supplied everything. Highschool we had to buy notebooks and stationary but all text books were borrowed from library for the year at no cost (unless books were damaged or lost). School also provided laptops for all highschool students and the kids were given the option of keeping them at the end of year 12.
