Default Stopping blankets falling off the bottom of the bed??

We got rid of our bed frame a few months ago and now just have a mattress and a base - but all the blankets keep sliding down the bed and off the end leaving me chasing the blankets all night.

Anyway got any ideas how to stop it without buying a blanket box for the end of the bed - we don't really have the space for it.

    I'm confused.

Do you mean blankets like a doona that cover the entire bed?

Cotton sheets instead of silk? I haven't had that problem before- we sleep with doona covered in cotton cover, and cotton sheets. Any sateen or silk finish could just slip away

So we have cotton flat sheet, a thin blanket and a thin cotton cover - in the night it all slides down the bed and falls off the end, including the sheet!

Do you tuck your sheets in? Do you use hospital corners?

Tuck in the sheets, blankets at the foot of the bed and about a third to halfway up the bed.

Well everything is tucked into the bottom of the bed and yes with hospital corners (I think maybe I'm not good at them!). I tuck the sheets in up the sides but DH untucks as soon as he gets in. Sheets are 350 count cotton and definitely not sateen just plain cotton.

Are we really the only ones that have this problem? Now I feel really weird.

I just use cotton sheets - all tucked in properly and a cotton doona cover on my doona.

Never have any issues with my doona going anywhere that it's not supposed to go.

Not sure what a blanket box is or how that would help.

It would be expensive but you could go up a size in top sheets and blankets.

eg put king size on a queen. Would leave you with plenty of tuck.
