Did I hear the rustling of a FRER packet being opened?!
@Caesardust, I've never used Pregnyl so am of no help, sorry
@BIB - my update is bl@@dy boring. I am just waiting to start stimming again. I start Primolut on 18/02.
Meanwhile, I had a fab morning with a visit to the local market (bread, vegies, and socks for DH) and then headed off to the library to pick out some new books while DH got a haircut.
Is anyone else a big reader on here? I go through about 3 novels a month, preferring books with either a medical or animal influence running through them (who would have guessed!)
Also, I've been keeping myself busy trying to track our grocery spending each week. Tomorrow is the last day of our allocated week and we have spent $3 less than the $200 I had originally budgeted for. Mind you, that did include a clinic trip (6 hours driving) where I bought snacks and meals ($37) I wouldn't normally buy, and also one meal out at the pub as a treat ($51.)
I actually figured out the proper way to budget. I buy all the meat for the week on 'sale day' at the supermarket when it's at it's cheapest. Then I go home and work out what I will be having with that meat to make up the grocery list. Then I whittle down the list by going through stock I already have in the cupboards.
I think we will save heaps! And that money can go towards IVF meds and stuff.
I'm beginning to think my body just doesn't accept hcg in its real or synthetic form. Is that even possible? Could this be a reason for infertility?
@Blossom74 that sounds like a great plan! I'm a budget freak (I have a secret Excel addiction!) so our budget is done down to the cent I meal plan as well and I'm really lucky that DH isn't fussy as we pretty much have a fortnightly rotation of the same meals - although those change summer to winter. But at least I don't have to think too hard about it!
I'm also a big reader, and a very fast reader, so I'd read 2-3 novels a week mainly before bed.... Or when I couldn't be a.r.s.e.d working and lay on the lounge for an hour instead of getting stuff done I read a lot for work, so like to switch off at night with novels that are good stories, I don't mind romances if they've got really good characterisation, murder mysteries, some fantasy like the Juliet Marillier novels and biographies. One of my favourite pastimes
@BlondeinBrisvegas not too much happening here, doing housework and some shopping today, then work that I maybe should have done yesterday instead of laying on the lounge reading, . Will head to the gym later for a workout as well, I'm starting to shift some weight and am inspired! DH and I seem to be sorting ourselves out, I'm taking a stand and asking him to step up or step out, and he's stepping up so far - the IVF DE talk will be coming up soon now that I think we're headed in a good direction.
@Caesardust I have no idea what that means!!! Maybe talk to your clinic as maybe it does mean something?? Sorry I can't help, hang in there.
I love reading im part of a book club that meets monthly over a vino of course! I read more books now on the ipad through the kindle app.
If you start testing again from tomorrow morning onwards with FMU then it'll prob be darker by then😊
The way the FRER looks now is how it does when the Pregnyl leaves your body. A true BFFP will see the line get darker not lighter.
@Blossom74 I budget/meal plan too every fortnight😊
I am also a huuuge reader but haven't had the time of late to get into it again😦
It can take me almost a week to read the Sunday paper sometimes!!!😮 A couple of days on a good week!!😁
