We were told this. Made me happy - DH is 7 years younger than me, so was 34 year old sperm with my old 41 year old eggs!

I wanted to weigh in on the topic of perfumes etc at epu & ET. My first FS was very specific with not wearing anything like that. Was told to shower only & come in fresh.
With second FS, same for EPU, as I believe it's a surgical procedure, and that pretty common. But he does ET just in his room where you are always scanned - it has a little lab off of it. So not even a sterile environment really (not like a theatre). But it worked for us. I just did the same for transfer though, so shower & no smelly stuff 😊

Dr M's Immune Girls - I've just received Dr M and LB's wad of prescriptions in the mail. Dr M has added Oripro Progesterone Pessaries without chatting to me about it. Does any-one know how Oripro differs from Gestone or Crinone. I'm most happy to inject Gestone. No messiness. But don't know if Oripro does something different? @Chiefsgirl @JulieMalooley Can you please help me?
PS: @Charlie74 I've just noticed that you asked the same question 2 weeks ago and @Gagingi and @Petal40 helped to answer it. My progesterone levels have always been fine on Gestone and I have heaps of Crinone left...and Crinone is so bl~~dy expensive. So I'm wondering whether a shot of Gestone and a Crinone pessary at bed time might do the job?? @JulieMalooley what did you do b/c you would have been using Gestone too?

Also, for those of you who have done the Estraderm patches every second day, I don't know how many boxes of 8 to ask my pharmacist for. I obviously start them on CD1 but do I stop them once I start the Progesterone? You don't continue on them post embryo transfer do you??

Thanks heaps @Charlie74. Nope, the PBS box isn't ticked. I just don't understand if Oripro has something different in it to Crinone. And is taking 2 x 90mgs of Crinone the equivalent of 200mgs of Oripro?
Like you, I have so much Crinone already, as I bought it 'cheaply' in CT. So if I'm going to have to use some gooey stuff as well as the Gestone I'd rather use up my Crinone supply.

I guess I have a set transfer date so it makes it a bit easier to forward plan how many boxes and bottles I need of things! Plus my local chemist has to order them in so I need to be a bit prepared ahead of time.
My CT instructions say to use Estradot but LB has prescribed Estraderm. The chemist just confirmed that yes, they are in fact different products. K said she'd never seen your patches prescribed before so I'm stuck with Estraderm but I'm happy enough to give it a whirl. If you have phenomenal success on them I'll be around at your house for leftovers quicker than you can say "10mm lining"!!!
If you can at least get to 6mm on your next scan those headaches will be worth it hun. xx

@Tahli I am on Oripro, and when my progesterone was very low, I was on Crinone as well as Oripro. I'm sure they are just another form of progesterone.
Both the crinone & Oripro are only covered on PBS of its a fresh transfer, and only until pregnancy is confirmed. Not covered by PBS for frozen transfer. Pretty sure this is correct.
And as for the patches, I stayed on them until around 12/14 weeks pregnant.

@Tahli I'm on two per week and yes I have to continue with progynova and patches up until bt. If I get a bfp then I think they continue for 12 weeks along with the prednisolone and clexane. Hope that helps.
