I've never been told no perfume etc for EPU. What if the nurse in theatre are wearing some?!
i haven't worn any make up or perfume anyway but had deodorant on - think it's fairly neutral.
I've had no success with Prada. Maybe it's time to change to Chanel No 5!
7 years ago I was told perfume etc could kill the embryos. That was enough for me. I didn't question it further! I do wear deodorant for transfers though...and pink lipstick and a pretty dress. I like to make myself presentable for meeting my 'babies' for the first time! @Bongley Yay to no more Clexane! I wonder whether as you wean off the drugs you'll feel a little less tired. My MHN described growing babies as 'parasites' as they suck the life/energy out of you and leave you with nothing. They don't care you barely have enough energy to walk. They just want to thrive in there! I remember being offended that she'd called my much longed for baby a parasite but she was right!
@Tahli yep, that's how I'm thinking of him at the moment, sapping my life force, he must be body building in there.......hm, well thinking about it that's literally what's happening.
My worry with the coming off the pred is that when I started it my doc said it might give me a bit of a pep, so not sure what weaning will do. Soon find out...I didn't get the moon face but I could do without the jelly belly.
@Bongley Floradix is what the UK MHN's used to love suggesting to those harboring 'parasites' aka our loved ones.....

Charlie74 my clinic says shower beforehand and wear deodorant, but no perfumes, moisturisers, or talc etc. They've said it is not good for the embies, but how the embies would come into contact with it, who knows...
@Charlie74 my clinic always says no perfume for Epu or transfer and no nail polish for Epu. Nothing about deodorant but I wear a natural one anyway so I don't think that would matter. I'd say it's the aluminium in deodorant and the scent that may be the issue???
