One of the reasons we were looking at o/s as our plan B was the stories we had heard about local donors. Everything from access visits to regular updates on 'their' childs progress to sending birthday cards were some examples. It just didn't feel like the right plan for us. Anonymous is way at the other end of the spectrum though so an interesting conundrum.

Hi everyone - think i've met some of you before
I've had a year off and now have come back to try again.
This time more of a solo journey as i've separated from my partner hence the big break !
Feeling a bit anxious to get back into it all again but hoping for the best

My FS, as you know, has refused to order the test.

What to do now? Must I go off my rocker at my FS and demand it?
I had my AMH ordered by a GP..!?

@Precious40 Ian so sorry sweetie I am absolutely gutted for you.
@winsor and @carsardust congrats on being pupo!
@Blossom74 I went to os de as I wanted anonymous donors. In the clinic I went to in hawAii it's completely anonymous or semi open. We can have pics, bios and medical history but we signed a legally binding document that states we/our children cannot try and make contact. That was what we wanted rather than a known donor who might end up wanting lots of contact.

Hi to everyone, gosh I miss a day and have 189 posts to read!

@Summer I'm worried about you love. How are things going with DH?
@BlondeinBrisvegas Are you feeling any better today? I wonder if you'll be under the weather off and on for all of Term 1? It doesn't help down here when it's 31c one day and 18c the next.
Thanks for being kind re my fur ball. He had an endoscopy, ultrasound, biopsy. So the same as me last Fri but the other end! And his procedure was decidedly more expensive! I get his results on Friday. So all up $3k so far. The equivalent of going back to CT for a FET.
And also a belated thanks for all the doggie chats a few weeks ago. A Cavoodle is looking like a good choice as a 4 year old boy's companion. So if I can't create a sibling for him, a Cavoodle might be on the cards.
I am going to Greece on the 20/3 for a Dr K transfer😀😀

Question.. I've noticed a few girls commenting in other threads that on transfer day you shouldn't wear perfume or deodorant?? I'd never heard that before....Anyone in here been told that? Seems a bit strange, but at the same time I guess your going into a clinical environment. But seems a bit OTT, I've worn deodorant for lap/hysteroscopy/EPU's.. Is it a nonsense or is it a real suggestion?
Its an instruction given at my clinic. No perfume at EPU or ET. I guess they have their reasons.

I was told the embryos don't like strong scents! I was told to shower and then no deodorant or perfume.
