though by the calendar today is 5dpo if ov was day14. so I must have ov a couple of days early this cycle. my initial estimations has transfer as today instead of monday. this changing ov date prob doesn't help us trying in natural cycles!

@Gagingi - that's why I ignore stats! If I paid any attention to them I'd never have started IVF at 41 almost 42.

So I'm quietly banging my head against a brick wall here

Went to my Doctor to request my AMH test and apparently he doesn't think he's allowed to request that test as he's not a FS.

My FS, as you know, has refused to order the test.

What to do now? Must I go off my rocker at my FS and demand it?

I don't get it. All three FS I've seen have tested my amh without me even asking for it. It's a stock standard test.

personally I wouldn't worry about it Blossom. as it's just another number to worry/keep thinking over. and from the articles posted recently it sounds like it's not that reliable. plus it's not measuring quality. I mean, if you can do it, that's good, but I wouldn't worry too much if you don't know it. (I don't know mine - on the form it just said something like 'value recorded' but I was never told the number.)

Blossom I wouldn't worry about the test all that much. No one seems to be very clear about my results to me, anyway. I've read more about AMHthan any medical professionals told me about it... which makes me think no one really knows about how accurate it really is. I also had my GP do the test..I went through qml cost me about $80

I was just interested. I'd like some form of confirmation that I do still have something left in reserve and I'm not doing all this with no hope of success. I think I'll still follow it up, even if the results are open to interpretation.

Yeah you'll get a number and then there's a scale according to your age. I'm meant to be above 13 but got 3.1..... It just tells me to get cracking on the baby lol I started ivf a month after my result.
