@Blossom74 ive had 2 cycles with ocp and syranal where i didnt get that many follies. I reckon that both put my ovaries to sleep waaay to much hence just short cycle these days.

Not silly at all. I was exactly the same as you praying and hoping for the best, I am sure all of us feel the same way before we go for our scans. I will be thinking of you tomorrow, wishing you the very best of luck xo.

@Blossom74 sorry your follicle scan today was not what you were hoping for. On the up side good on you for sticking to your guns and been firm with your clinic. You know your body the best and you have cycled enough to know what it is capable of. Well done you and hopefully next month is your month.

Sorry it's turned out this way @Blossom74, but good on you for sticking to your guns with the nurse.

I'm on 600 FSH to start my cycle this time - alternating between Gonal-F and Menopur alternate days and taking split dose morning and night. I'll then drop to 450, as my ovaries are a bit knocked by the frequent cycles. Pregynal 10000 trigger. He was also insistent on Progynova from CD2 for egg quality and I take SciTropin too. Down-regged with Synarel. We are doing PGD and freeze all, so no transfer prep drugs this time. I'd wanted 600 as I was on 600 all the way through on my last cycle and got 14 eggs, 10+ mature and 2 normal PGD. On the cycle before with 450 I got 21 eggs, but only one average blast worth transferring at day 5. We discussed the quality/quantity debate, but that has been going on forever and given our embies are improving we are sticking with high FSH. Wazza is famous for his stimming, but gets results!

For what it is worth, Wazza refuses to only use 1 FSH for me, and combines Menopur and Gonal as each offer different qualities (we've discussed heaps of others, but they are often just a different brand name).

On earlier cycles I was on 225, 300 (with FS#1), 450 and whilst we didn't PDG, we also didn't get any BFPs and only ever had 1 average embie to transfer.

PS. My ovaries being knocked about is from EPU, not drugs - so I'd imagine you'll be right next month if you wanted and it sounds like your FS is still on board and supportive.
