Yeah, so my scan is on CD10, after the 7th injection. I should be right I reckon. At that stage I would normally have one around 18mm. The earliest I've ovulated naturally (without a trigger) was CD12 so fingers crossed I'll be ok

I think my main worry, as a poor responder, is actually making ANY follicles, lol. I have been put on 100mg of Clomid and only 200iu of the Gonal-F, whereas last time I was on 450iu of Gonal-F. They are trying the 'less is more' approach.

When I discussed the cycle with my FS I told him I wouldn't go to EPU for any less than 3 follies. Will be interesting to see if I get any at all! You never know, maybe 200iu is the magic number and I'll come away with a grab bag of fat follies. One can only dream....

Oh, and being that our money is SO tight, we authorised for two to go in at once. If there are only two there that fertilise, our last chance could be over and done with a lot quicker than we had hoped....

Summer, I'm glad to hear your counseling sessions started well. it's nice in a way that your DH is trying to shield you (& him) from further pain especially following the past year's health issues as well, but I can understand that you're willing to go there again. it sounds to me that you'll be able to work through it, now you know what the issues are. good luck.

Blossom do you have pcos? I'm just wondering about the clomid as I had asked my first FS about using it and she said as I didn't have pcos it would work in reverse for me and make me respond worse. I think it was pcos she mentioned - I could be mixed up (whatever it is that clomid is to treat). do you use it to help you ovulate?

I used clomid in my success cycle for egg quality and my stims were lowered to 300.

No, I don't have PCOS. I don't know why I take the Clomid. I just presumed it was good for helping make multiple follies all at once. I know the cycle I didn't use it I only made 1 follicle. The second cycle I did use it I made 3, one of which eventuated into my BFP. They use it on me to gear up for FET's too.

Ah there you go. Maybe it was for egg quality. Especially since the egg I produced on cycle 1 was a complete dud and failed to fertilise. Of the 3 picked up on my second cycle, two of those fertilised succesfully. Maybe that was it

I think it might have been. Were you on clomid this time?
