For the ladies on Wazza's waiting list, I got in within a couple of months - I actually went on the cancellation list twice because I cancelled the first time because I was already pregnant and said there was likely someone who needed that appointment more than me (oh hindsight is a biatch!) and then I got in again a few weeks later after I miscarried. Then I found out everything I could have done to possibly prevent that miscarriage, so should have taken that first appointment anyway GRRRRRR!

Woohoo @winsor. You'll be two steps in front on me so I'll be chasing your tail. Wishing you lots and lots of luck and babydust that this is a successful cycle for you (and me!)

Option 1: Thaw one at a time for single FETs (getting 3 possible single transfers)
Option 2: Thaw one for a single FET (leaving me 2 embryos for a future double FET)
Option 3: Thaw two for a double FET (all thaw well, leaving me a single future FET option)
Option 4: Thaw two for a double FET (1 doesn't thaw well so they thaw the 3rd one)
Option 5: Thaw all three and transfer the two best looking (although I couldn't discard a perfectly healthy embryo & if the FET is unsuccessful then its $13k for a new donor cycle)

Note: If I have a single embryo left as my last embryo and start a new donor cycle I can't legally transfer that last frozen embryo in with a new fresh embryo to create a double FET.
Imo I'd go for option 2 as you know your body can get pregnant and doubling up might make it more risky. It also gives you that feeling that if it doesn't work you can go for double for your last go at it.

    I have lining envy!!!!! @winsor

    1. I worry that I won't respond to the lower dose drugs, and I won't make any follies.

    2. I worry that I will make follies, but that none of them will hold an egg.

    3. I worry that I will make eggs, but they will all be too immature to fertilise.

    4. I worry that I will make mature eggs, and that still none will fertilise.

    5. I worry that if I make fertilised eggs, they will all die off before transfer day.

    6. I worry that if any eggs survive to transfer day, they will be put into me only to fail two weeks later.

    7. I worry that this is our last chance, and the answer at the end could well be "You won't be having children."

    8. I worry that the pain of losing Blossom, and not ever having a baby, might just be enough to slowly kill me.

    9. I worry that my DH doesn't feel my pain, and that he will simply move forward if our IVF fails, and I will be left behind, an empty broken shell.

    10. I worry that I don't know what I'm meant to be if I'm not going to be a Mother.

You don't have to comment ladies. I just wanted to get it out there.
@Blossom74 I understand your worry. I wonder if you have a crinkly face like mine??

I have tried to stop thinking about all the what ifs and accept that jumping through one hoop just means there's another one right there to take its place. I figure it's better to focus on what you can control (which seems insignificant I know) and let the other things fall into place if they are meant to be. This cycle because of this I've felt less stressed. I've been healthy, I've exercised everyday, I am organised and I am most importantly sleeping well each night. All of that calms my anxiety and helps each hoop feel manageable. In regards to points 7-10. Reading that crushes me and I feel it's something we all really have to push away for now. When the ivf journey is over something else will take its place. Life goes on and people cope with grief. It always hurts but it becomes more manageable I guess and you know that better than most. We all have worth in this life and it is not only related to parenthood and I just keep saying to myself you can't always get what you want and that's ok because you get what you need. Hugs xxxx

So I spoke to my nurse about my concerns re transferring on a Sunday.. And no they don't do FET on a Sunday.. However.. (Clearly I have no clue..) apparently bcos I'm doing a HRT FET, they ARE controlling my cycle, and I think she said that means I won't ovulate.. So they will just watch my lining, and once it's thick enough, they transfer. She estimated around 16/2. So that's one less thing to worry about! Am so glad I asked bcos I had no clue that they are controlling things.. Feel much happier about it all now
Ah that's a relief for you @Charlie74. A medicated cycle is much less stressful than the one I'm doing but still problematic for us lining issue gals. Just so you know I have done 10progynova 8 oral 2 in the clacker. I also double dosed on the patches. It made a small improvement enough to get me over the line only. Transfer is Wednesday next week. Sh!tt!ng bricks.

Ditto. I had lining envy when I read over 10mm too! If I could get to 8mm I'd be stoked!!
@Caesardust and all the girls, thanks heaps for your input in helping me to chose what to do next. I've been given my hysteroscopy time of 4pm on Fri, so by Fri night I'll have LBs blood test results, Dr M's blood test results and LB's hysteroscopy results...which means I can make a decision as to what to do next over the weekend.
When I did an OE day 3 transfer as a 40 y/o LB gave me a 10-15% chance success. Now that I have a good few failed cycles behind me, if she lowers it to say 5% chance of success then I may have to pass on trying a final OE cycle. I just wish it didn't cost so much money...$11k up front and $6k oop.
    @Precious40 Any news yet hun?
