    It depends on the country and their individual laws/visa/travel requirements.

    Australia does not allow someone with a criminal record as far as I know (I am not sure if tourist is excluded but definitely visa) and Australia is taking a hard stance against those that are convicted of DV.

    So yes, it can affect travelling internationally.

    Do you mean don mclean who sang american pie? He's supposed to come to bluesfest in march in byron bay. One paper said they hadnt decided if they will cancel his tour yet

    As other's have said it will depend on the individual country and what's involved with visa/entry etc.

    Generally if you've been charged with any sort of crime, expect to have difficulty travelling overseas.

    Ahh makes sense now. For some reason I thought it was the victim and I couldn't get my head around it.

    I don't think we should give visas to perpetrators of domestic violence.
