    Default Pregnant on implanon?

Has anyone gotten pregnant on implanon? I had mine inserted in May last year and it's worked fine - I've never had any side effects. This past week though I've been having slight cramping, feeling nauseous, dizzy, extremely tired and sleeping a lot more than usual, plus general mood changes. A couple of days ago I had really bad stomach cramps to the point where I was hunched over on my bedroom floor. I have had the tiniest bit of blood when I've been to the bathroom. (Like would hardly call it spotting, that's how tiny). I've been pregnant before (unfortunately miscarried) and the stomach cramping happened that time (except along with spotting) I can't shake the thought that i could be, but then part of me thinks I'm crazy as implanon is supposed to be over 99% effective and I couldn't possibly be that one in a million? If it's not that, something else is up that is obviously concerning as I'm having a lot of strange pains down there. In saying that I am due for my period any day now but I have never had these symptoms around the time of my period. I usually cramp the day of and then that's it. What are your thoughts? I'm quite confused at the moment.

Go to the doctor.. As you said, if your not pregnant there is something else definitely wrong..
I had implanon for a number of years but it never agreed with me.. I had insanely irregular bleeding, pains, unusual moodiness etc.. But was never pregnant on it, (as far as I know) and was having very regular (everyday) sex with my husband..
Doctor is your best bet.. Better to be safe..

A girlfriend of mine fell pregnant on implanon. I'd do a pregnancy test to rule it out and if symptoms continue speak to your doctor.

As above. Pregnancy can happen. But it could also be something else. Hope you feel better and get some answers soon.
