Another one from me, and it's pretty pedantic, is the pronunciation of loch or the name Lachlan. I hate hearing a hard "k" like "lock". And hearing people say "locklan" or "lockie" makes me twitch. It's a softer sound in the back of the throat that I know isn't something Aussies pronounce. But as a Scot my ears hurt a little bit every time I hear it.

Parm a zin. Sometimes parma zhan. I think growing up so close to the US, some words are mixed up in my brain between the English and the American pronounciation. Both sound correct to me.

OMG this had me in stitches!!!

My favourite part, 'you never ignore a dildo on your cupcake'. Not sure why I find that so funny but I just do. And I'm still laughing.

FIL says 'sat-eye' for 'satay' .... It really ****s me. He's English and I would be fine with 'sat-ay' but I have no idea where he gets the 'eye' bit from!
Also I am so frustrated by 'OrangutANG' .... It's ORANGUTAN!!! There is no 'G' at the end!!!!
I find myself unable to stop correcting people with this one.

In my defence I grew up in Tassie and we have 'Eastlands' so I'm having to break a habit.
