@A-Squared it might be worth popping in to a bookshop or library and finding a picture book about dreams/nightmares. I can see if I can find some to suggest if you'd like.

That dream definitely sounds like the first short.

We saw Peanuts too and it was fine. Definitely G, no scary short at the start. Very enjoyable for everyone. Though I did question them playing the trailer for goosebumps...

I didn't see snoopy myself but all of my kids loved it.

I still remember when I was really little having to be carried out of "Snoopy come Home" because I was crying so much no one could watch the movie.

The 70s were brutal for kids movies 😂. Don't get me started on Bambi.

I probably wouldn't say anything but I understand your concern OP.

Fwiw my 4 & 6 year old were fine with The Good Dinosaur, but they still haven't seen Monsters Inc (the original) coz I know it would scare the begeejus out of them.

Each kid is different, it's hard to know how they'll react.

Hopefully your DD is ok soon, poor little poppet.

Coming in late here, but I would suggest looking at the IMDB parent guide before taking a small child who is easily scared to see a movie.

Here is the link for the Good Dinosaur:

It's a terrible, slow and painful movie to watch. I used to watch the series when I was younger too. It could be that I have way outgrown snoopy, I don't know. I was disappointed.

Yeah, I'm in the cinema now and I gotta say, I'm not loving it. The kids are happy enough though and it's very tame.

ETA: @A-Squared if you can avoid it then do so for your own sake 😂 It's totally fine for kids though, so is the short movie beforehand.
