I'll ask about the folonic acid because it sounds that would be better. Thank you all again.

Tegs, I am on thyroxine. I got my gp to write me a referral to an endocrinologist in Brisbane because my thyroid antibodies were really high (like in the 500's) but tsh, t3 and t4 levels were all ok. After research and confirming with my endocrinologist I saw this can increase miscarriage rates. My endocrinologist has put me on thyroxine 5 times per week as my tsh levels were still ok but it just deminishes that antibody miscarriage risk.
Just...FYI. This is the MTHFR specialist whose advice I follow. https://www.facebook.com/drbenjaminlynch/

@Deb thinking of you and thanks for the bday wishes x

Would Dr M have any other suggestions at all that might give you the outcome we all desire?
@Stacey I have a phone appointment with Wazza on Tuesday next week so I will ask him I can go back to the GP here they always have different ones so maybe another one might do it for me only think is it's not bulk bill so costs a fortune on the whim.
@sunshine that's for the infor really appreciate it

@Tegs, definitely try the gp then, sometimes the ones that are different each time are easier to get stuff off

Deb - I hope you are starting to feel better. I was just advised to also still take 5mg folic acid. I'm going to ask a haematologist and just double check though and I'll let you know. Have you been on clexane and prednisone for your last cycles?

@Deb I really hope you can find the strength to go again, your baby is just within reach, try and get an app organised as soon as you can, as I'm sure that will help clarify some things for you, and I'm sure all that will be needed is a tweak to your protocol

I'm going to call tomorrow and make the appointment with Dr M. I am going to go see him rather than phone consult to hubby can come to and make it easier to all discuss. I also wonder sometimes too whether a new donor could make a difference, both attempts were from the some donor.

Sunshine I was on 40mg clexane a day and ended up on 25 mg prednisone per day.

@Deb did you manage to get an appointment with Dr M?

AFM well the cyclone is bearing down on us and nearly had to open a welfare centre in the community 200ks away but we couldn't get there due to the road.

    Hi everyone

Deb, hope you'll get some answers from dr M and a new plan to give you hope.

Tegs, take care of you and be safe.

Stacey, hope your family is ok.

We are doing good, growing 😊. Getting tired and swollen already, but I'm taking it easy at work and at home.

    Have a nice weekend everyone!
