    Thanks girls!!!!

I'm 13 days past transfer today.
I asked my fertility specialist what number they would like to see and she said anything over 100 so that makes me feel a relieved!. I've looked on beta base and some people have up in the 800s - 1000s at this time but I'm trying not to compare.

Does anyone remember their first beta result?

I have a repeat blood test in a week. I thought it would be 2 days but my specialist said that to check in a week to make sure it's going up

We have started to plan our trip to Zlin for the spring!!! Question for all of you: has anyone rented a car in Prague and returned it in Vienna? Who did you use?

@sunshine my ba was 350 at 14 dpo or 9 dpt, I had a repeat hcg 2 days later, then 2 days after that then a couple more as I was paranoid and I have a lovely gp who I kept amused at the time
Welcome @cotignola, not sure if any of us hired a car, I personally wouldn't be game enough to, but lots of ladies do on the fertilityfriends uk site, and have seen them recommend hiring a manual as it's cheaper and making sure that you hire a sat nav as well, I just used the trains and prague airport transfers when in prague to get myself around

@sunshine that number sounds great!!! I haven't been pregnant before so I don't have any past numbers to offer up.
@cotignola - I am heading over to Zlin in May and we are hiring a car from Vienna to Zlin and then returning. I looked on the sites about dropping off at another destination and Budget and Avis do this and it is not much more. Hope this helps. Great to have another person on board for Zlin!

@sunshine huge congratulations. Soo happy for you. I think the results are great. Mine were 212 at 9dp5dt and 1119 at 1 3dp5dt, but they were on the high end. I was convinced we have twins. @cotignola we wanted to hire a car but we found it to be too expensive to take from one country (ex Czech Rep) and drop it in a different one (Austria). So we gave up. But the buses and the train were really good.

    Hi to everyone else!

    Hello everyone

    congrats Sunshine.

Ive heard back from Anna at Zlin and have so many tests that are required to have treatment again. Below is the list of tests for me and DH. Can anyone shed any light on these tests? Are they going to be hard to get?

    Female partner:
    1. thyroid panel hormones (on any day of the cycle): TSH, free T4 + Prolactin
    2. For women 45+ years old:
    · Mammogram result
    · Letter from your General Practitioner stating that hormonal treatment and pregnancy are not contraindications for you
1.Vaginal ultrasound – regular check before medical preparation (on any day of the cycle)
    1. STD: HIV 1/2, Hepatitis B, Hepatitis C, Syphilis (all STD tests must not be older than 12 month by the day of planned embryo transfer, the last test is from 30th June 2014)
3.thrombophilic mutations: factor V Leiden, factor II Prothrombin, MTHFR (C677T), MTHFR (A1298C)
    1. Immunology: anti-ovarium Ig, anti-spermal Ig, anti-Zona pellucida Ig, anticardiolipin ACLA total, ACLA IgG, ACLA IgM, NK cells
    5.Diagnostic Hysteroscopy

    Male partner:
    1. Semen Analysis (the most recent result) – will be better to update this result (the last one is from 2014)
    2. STD: HIV 1/2, Hepatitis B, Hepatitis C, Syphilis (all STD tests must not be older than 12 month by the day of planned embryo transfer)
    3. Karyotype – man 46xy – this test is much better than DNA sperm fragmentation, but if you are able to test also DNA sperm fragmentation, this can be also very helpful.
Hope you are well and planning well.

@Deb I'm sure you have probably had a lot of those done through Dr M, the thrombophillic mutations and immunology ones etc, your gp can order the TSH etc, same obviously with all your std tests.
I think it's important for your d/h to get those tests done as they may show things, hopefully they won't though

    Hi Deb

Don't worry, I'm sure that you've done already most of them.
Tyroid test - are blood tests, get referral from gp
I'm not sure about mammogram, I've never had one
Ultrasound - with referral from gp go to an ultrasound place
Std - blood test with referral from gp
Trombofilic mutation, immunology and hysteroscopy send what you have from dr m
Semen analysis can be done together with dna fragmantation. I think the gp can give your hubby a referral. I'm not sure cause we had the tests done through fs
    Karyotype is blood test.

    Hello

had the appointment with th ob today. Went well. No issues re the tests except there were a couple that he was not sure of so going to look into them and send me all the referrals. I will wait to see Dr M before I do any tests to see if I already have them.

hope you are all doing well.
