Yes, I've been on immune protocols both times. Meds plus intralipids. Maybe it would have worked without them....I don't know. But given I have elevated NK cells I wasn't going to take the chance.

Good luck for your c/s tomorrow @Kay2015, hope all goes well.

Glad to hear your babies are home and well @wazbub, it's so exciting!

AFM - we hit the 26wks mark on Wed gone. Our twins are 828 and 861 gms (yay!) and laying 'head to foot' and have been since the 6wk scan. They are also laying the length of my torso, instead of horizontally around my torso, so I still don't really look pregnant. I am tall which helps the illusion as well. The only things that have expanded is my ankles, or should I say cankles, in the last week. I think that's where the stretch marks will be!!!!!! I've broken out my trusty pairs of Sheer Relief brand pantyhose that the air hostesses wear, on my Obs suggestion, to support and counteract some of the swelling. Other than that I'm breezing through this journey, with one or two minor niggles (and corresponding whinges to DH) here and there. I'm still wearing all my normal clothes and haven't purchased any maternity clothes yet. Actually we haven't purchased anything at all (baby wise) yet, not even a singlet. I can't help thinking it will jinx us, and if I go unexpectedly DH can pop into Baby Bunting while I'm in hospital and pick up a cot and pram.

Good luck to every girl that's cycling, or about to, and ECM, this is your time this time, you've been so thorough with your preparation and picking a new donor. I will jump for joy when you get your BFP. Don't forget to get your DH to leave a sample when you are at CFC this time round, it take the pressure off and gives you more options.

@Kay2015 and @wazbub, I can't believe that we will all be mummy's by the time the first anniversary comes around of that night we were all sitting there eating tapas and talking about our long journeys and our parenthood hope and dreams.

Big congratulations to those who have just had their precious babies. It's really exciting and gives me hope :-)

I've finally heard back from the clinic saying my donor has had all her screening done and so far all is good. They are just waiting on one more blood test then I'll get my treatment plan. After a big wait I can't wait to get started and get ready to be over in CT in July.

I'm looking forward to reading about all those who will be heading over in the next couple of months. Good luck :-)

Yes congratulations to all the moms and yr beautiful blessings. It definitely gives us hope and excitement. All the best for those who are preparing to go to SA as well.
Were hoping to be there in July as well, this is wow going into the unknown- but it is reassuring that there are ladies on this site that has experienced it all. @HB13, I am really excited today that I finally reserved my donor and spoke with Kim, she was reluctant for me to reserve my donor too soon without me seeing my new FS yet which is in 2 weeks time. I mentioned to her that I have my results from previous IVF clinic and will send that to CFC next week. Cant wait

    arrival photo resized 2.jpg

Hi, sorry for the delay but here is a photo of our two little ones. Robert is on the left and Charlotte on the right. This is from the first day that Charlotte came out of her Isolette to join big brother Robert. I was discharged on Tuesday and am now doing three trips per day to the hospital for feeds/baths etc.

Charlotte is now back to birth weight and Robert not far off. They are getting better at breastfeeding and it is possible that they will be home sometime around Mother's Day.

@Sunnygirl04 they are beautiful babies, clever girl @Aquinos77 sounds like your plans our coming along in leaps and bounds...congrats!

...sounds like there are lots of new plans in the works....some more beautiful Donor Angel babies about to be born...and a few more cooking away.
One more sleep for me to decide our fate I'm feeling pretty good to be honest, usually by now I'd 'have that feeling' and usually be right. This time I'm still feeling good, I think just knowing that our embryo's aren't made from my crappy eggs has made a difference to how I'm feeling about this cycle.

It's gorgeous weather for 'doing nothing' which is what I'm doing...catching up on some TV and procrastinating about doing some housework (I'm terrible at domestic duties). I keep thinking that I'll get some mop body suits made up for any little babies we have, so they can clean the floors while they crawl around...hehe is that terrible. I so which I'd thought of that 20 odd years ago when I had my son...I was OCD about cleaning and housework back then...oh how I've changed.
Enjoy what's left of your weekend ladies!
    G
