International pharmacy did the prescription for me. They charge about £25. You just complete a form, thats all, it was easy.

I'd love to know how much Lucrin is using the international option. I wonder how it compares to $220-$240 for two bottles of Syranel. When I investigated the costs I didn't realise international was an option, so was looking at twice the dose I needed too. Does Lucrin make you as snappy/crabby as the Evil Spray (Synarel)?
@ECM1981 I'm absolutely thrilled your donor isn't a CF carrier and you'll be PUPO in June. You can start stockpiling FRERs now!!

Tahli, I can't remember the cost as it was over a year ago. I think just over $200 but if you go onto the website it will give you a price. Plus back then the exchange rate was better. I preferred the 1 off injection rather than medicating every day. Also you don't have to give it in the bum, just in tummy like ivf drugs.

Yes im thinking i should depot injection again. I think i will head to the pharmacy later today for a chat. I cant remember the name of the last depot i took but they will have it on file so i will get back to all once i get the name. Syneral is a bugger! @Tahli thanks hun! Im not sure i will be able to bring myself to test early, I usually get too scared, but im trying to do 'opposites' this time so maybe i will. Glad to hear from you, sending you hugs. Xx

Just popping in here, you can substitute the lupron/lucrin for prostap or diphereline 3.75, they do the same thing, one off injection and depending which one you get one can be cheaper than the other, of course most of them are cheaper from international pharmacies than here, fertility2u sell the prostap for £90 ish plus international post but not sure if they're posting to aus anymore

@MissSagi and @Jennski how many weeks do you need to put aside to organise the lucrin? Is it 2 weeks for organising and ordering and 2 weeks in the post/customs? X

@Miss Sagi Did it make you crabby? I'm on Syranel for about 28 days because I need the extra 2 weeks or so to build up my thin lining. I'd love a one-off injection that costs less than $220.
And if the script comes from CFC instead of my FS it has the potential to save me the $200-$400 my FS charges me for scripts/referrals. I'd just need a GPs referral for my two lining scans then.
I hope life's settling down for you with your two gorgeous little poppets. Twins as a single mum is a pretty hard gig hey? Am I mad even contemplating it on my own with a 4 y/o?!!
@ECM1981 I'd love to know how you get on with your Lucrin research.
Okey dokes, so if you're doing everything in opposites, I'll email you daily from 4dp5dt to remind you to POAS. Do you get better results with morning or arvo wee? (No pressure!!)

Tahli, I think i was a lucky one and never got any symptons from any ivf drugs. Dex/Pred on the other hand are a different story!
It only took them a few days to sort out my script and ship it out. Depending on what state you live in depends how long it sit in customs. SA were quite quick.
I think 4yr old is a good age...they can help you out! 😀 Although probably old enough to get that green eyed monster jealousy streak! He handle what we are given 😊
