Babywish, sounds like it will be an amazing holiday! You have the right attitude. It doesn't always work first go, but it's a step in the right direction and at least you would have had an awesome holiday. That's how we looked at it when we went over in July 2014 for the fresh transfer, but wasn't to be, and if took me another 2 trips for FET's and I was 3rd time lucky. (We now have a 5 month old girl who is the light of our life). But you would have seen so much success on here, so keep positive! 😊

Hi girls. Just read back on everything. It was disappointing to read some unsupportive comments by KMP. Seriously? I hope the newbies are not put off by this as ED is such a beautiful thing. I am sorry for the girls who are struggling too. I know you will get there in the end. We are in Cape Town ATM with our bub. We have spent a beautiful weekend at The Vineyard eating & drinking up a storm. We have now moved into our apartment in the city. My transfer is booked in for Friday so we will enjoy this beautiful city until then. I was the one who wasn't sure if we should transfer 1 or 2 embies but I did find KMPs comments back about this totally unhelpful & disrespectful especially for twin mummas & I am sorry I asked. She chose to transfer 1 & got lucky & it worked - good for her but we will be transferring 2 embies as we have put so much time & energy into this that we want the best outcome. We are prepared for anything & if it doesn't work I will probably come back for last try & would transfer 2 again (we were lucky as have 12 good quality blasts on ice). Yes a single pregnancy would be ideal in our situation with having one bub already but if we get twins we will deal with this & know it was meant to be. And of course must prepare that it may not work Good luck everyone. Hard to believe I will be PUPO on Friday again.

Shady grove has an assured program/money back guarantee.
$60,000 for one couple/family, $44,000 if the eggs are shared between 2 couples/family, and $35,000 for three couples/families.
    What would you do?
Do not have the money for Shady grove, can try and afford CFC again, but what if the same thing happens?
    please I need your help/suggestions/advice.

    Thanks.
Sadly, a lot of people are not successful the first time and sometimes there are just dud cycles too. In all my time following this thread though there are very few people who have never succeeded and those that haven't often had other fertility issues going on.

Of course it's up to you, but I think if you have ruled out all possible fertility issues on your side, except for dodgy eggs then it's probably worth giving SA another shot with a different donor.

Good luck for Friday @Luca. In the meantime, enjoy CT again. We also chose to transfer two embies to maximise our chances after going all that way...

Good luck @Luca - you are so lucky to have 12 on ice ! Most ladies on here would give their right arm to be in that position . Sticky vibes coming your way 😊

Good luck Luca! We are on the countdown now off in 2 weeks. I am wondering any recommendations for an acupuncturist In CT or near the clinic?
